Your main character is stranded on a desert island

Your oc is stranded on a desert island. There is electricty and unlimited water.
There is also a stereo to listen to music. Once a day there is a food delivery,
a plane drops off the food. Your character will probably stay on that island for
the rest of their life. Here is the catch, this is what they have to choose:

one book
one music albumm there is no internet, spotify etc on the island
one meal which consists of for example 1 main item like a piece of steak,
one side like rice and one vegetable like peas. They can´t choose a pizza or
a. salad with 20 ingredients or other clever ideas like that
one additional drink like one can of fanta, one coffee or one peppermint tea

So what´s the

music album
meal
drink

that your character chooses and has
to consume for the rest of their life? Remember, it´s the same every day for the rest
of their life.

Alicia would probably choose an anthology of all of Dicken's novels lol. If she couldn't pick that, a giant poetry anthology.

she would bring the CD she and her boyfriend Kat burned when they were 14 of their top 20 favorite songs.

She would probably choose chicken wings, fried sweet plantains and cherry tomatoes.

thai tea (it would be sweetened right? she'd sweeten it with sweetened condensed milk)

Essence would probably choose a book she didn't like very much like "Emma" by Jane Austen because she's never finished it. She would cease to feel like she could miss books because she has one she didn't finish reading, but she'll never be able to get herself to finish it lol.

H.E.R. volume one.

food doesn't matter a lot to her, so it doesn't make much of a difference. she can barely taste. She'd probably choose spicy grilled chicken with hot sauce, french fries, and broccoli.

probably plain black coffee.

As for me

probably "A Tale of Two Cities." I can reread it and still enjoy it, I've already done it more than once. Treasure Island is the same way, but it would feel too ironic.

This one is tricky. Maybe "This Can't Be It" by Nic D. I'll probably think of something else five minutes from now.

Oh wait, maybe one of the Epic albums.

Dry rub sweet and spicy pork ribs. Honey-butter rolls. Fermented beets.

Just for clarity, these people will be alone forever? yikes

You know, technically Ian is already stranded on an island. It’s just bigger, not a desert, and has a lot of people on it. I wonder how long his sanity would last on this tiny island. Despite being an introvert who doesn’t know how to talk to people he still wants to talk to people (just like me 🥲)

book: I think he might pick The History of the Island of Outcasts (not real book) written by the very first king of the island and passed down every generation to be written in by the next king. He only got to read it once, just after his father died, and found it to be very long, but interesting. (Which sounds perfect for a long stay in isolation) he wasn’t able to read it again after that because it belongs to his brother now and Daevon is not gonna just let Ian read his journal.

music album: the music in Ian’s time wasn’t terribly interesting so I’m gonna imagine Ian being in the modern world for this one. For some reason I think he would be a Swifty (I’m not a swifty but I enjoy a handful of her songs) so I guess I’ll go with The Tortured Poet’s Department. I’ve never even listened to the whole album, but it seems his vibe.

meal: I’ve never thought about his favorite meal… maybe some kind of roasted fish and some good bread on the side.

drink: probably some fancy wine or something. I know nothing about fancy wines so, shrug I can’t say what kind.

Well, in his defense, he didn’t think about that. He’s not very good at thinking about the consequences of his actions. he’ll probably die from lack of proper nutrition.

She'd probably take the light novel version of her favorite comic. It doesn't exist in our world but it's called 'Cotton Candy Queen."

The album she would take would probably be SKZ "In Life"

The one meal would be Navajo fry bread, fresh tomatoes, and fried cheese. (she will die of heart disease before she dies of loneliness)

The drink would probably be mint tea
