I have an ensemble cast, but Agony comes the closest to being the main character. She fears affectionate touch. She jerks away at a comforting hand to her shoulder or her own hand being held. She also can't stand hugs.
She's a little better with verbal affection, in that she can receive it and just brush it off, but she can't really give it easily.
