Yea Think many take a 'normal human' appearance in current comic because it's based on modern day earth, but have bizarre powers none the less
Of the 2 MCs Owen probably more 'Normal' compared to his big bro Evan. Owen looks naturally scared and helpless given their situation, v.s. Evan who walks around a casually covered in dirt and blood, wields his spit in combat and looks very excited to be in a horror story.
Have a bunch of 'wierd' designs but guess GOD OF SORROW might work
A super old drawing for a game idea to eventually become a comic. It's a re-occurring boss that is the sum of the emotional state of the universe. When there is imbalance it appears, wails annoyingly and prances around on one leg, causing more chaos, wielding a handkerchief and dragging a spider on string behind it. The Player has to find and beat the crap out of it. In defeat, it transforms into the God of Happiness, with white and gold colors, a happy mask and a happy gold 'pet spider on string, it flies off, back to the 'Heavens'.
