I remained frozen for several minutes, too afraid to take a step. When I finally knew I was alone, my mind raced against itself. What could I do? What could I, a man trapped inside a machine, trapped inside a room, trapped inside a house possibly do? She said to sleep. I assumed I slept plenty already, but the heaviness in my joints told me otherwise. I could feel sensations, hear sound, and see. A machine, a robot couldn't do that, not really. Where were the overlaps? Lilly could control me enough to keep me locked in a room like a computer on child lock, but I still had to sleep like a human?
