Natsu had secrets and Toji had no right to invade them. When he was ready to know, Natsu would share. As he thought about Natsu, he realized he wasn’t with him. At least, he wasn’t near him. He looked around, scanning the area but seeing no one.
“Tsu?” he called out, his voice loud in his own ears. “Where are you?” he walked away from the door, his steps quickening into a run as he called out for Natsu. He was sure he’d be here, he had to be, this was his pocket! His heart thudded in his chest, panic starting to settle in. Had something happened? Was he being prevented from entering in some way?
“Natsu?!” he called out, turning in a circle, his hands clutching at his hair. “Baby, where are you?!”
“I’m right here, you don’t need to yell.”
