hey y'all! It's my first post on Tapas, but not my first time lurking these forums. I'll make this quick. In our hustle and bustle life we often only have a few seconds to capture someone's attention before they're off doing something else. Those few seconds can make or break a sub so let's put our best foot forward. If you had to post a single chapter of your comic to represent the entirety, what would it be?

I'd like to see it and give some feedback! and who knows, maybe even a sub if I'm really blown away. So drop a link to your chapter and maybe some context as well. I'll look at as many as I can!

Obviously, I can't start a thread without showing off my own work so I'll go first.

In terms of representing the entire series, this one is perfect!
Action, Mystery and Conspiracy, some Comedy, the consequences of the characters' actions are relevant, a lot of important characters and plotpoints are revealed, and it even has a bonus page with the basic information of the main characters.

Some context: The main characters (the Green & Red ones) tried to stop a delincuent (the Purplish one), but things escalated A LOT. The police gets involved. The previous chapter ended with the protagonist, Emilio (Green), running to save a cop that was unconscious in a burning car, but another cop shot at him.

The chapters next to this one are better in terms of drawing and readability, but this one is still my overall favorite.

I think this one, Chapter 02 - episode 02, is a good cross section of my story. It encapsulates the promise of the premise (Kyara fighting against a dangerous beast) and shows off the relationship between Kyara and Zack as well as demostrating their respective personalities. Plus, it's a fun scene that, imo, works really well on its own.

hey hallo! If its about introducing Wisp of shadows I would definitely still go for the first chapter of the comic. It really captures the whole vibe for the story. It shows the bickering between the characters and the problems they will face later on.

[synopsis: After a spirit hunt turned into a magical hunt it all went wrong, now these friend are trying to catch up on their mistakes. Until the creatures are sighted again.. And again. So they start to wonder, why?]

The best way to encapsulate it all in one chapter is my chapter 1!

Kuro has long dreamed of being the hero destined to save humanity, but he's not. That's the other guy who is a stranger from another world. Come check out my novel about an adventurer who is trying to to do good in the world, but is not the hero destined to save it.

Oh, this is a fun topic!

Of what I have published so far, I think Chapter 29, "The Hour I First Believe," is the best representation of what the story is about. Its tone, setting, structure—none of those are typical of this story, to be honest, but it gets at the heart of things more directly than any other chapter thus far.

Check it out if you like fantasy! dead things! magic! action! romance! queer anti-heroes! fomenting rebellion! succumbing to your worst impulses! working through trauma you didn’t even know you had! ideals worth dying for! and a pervasive vein of inappropriate humor.

Oh fun! And perfect to find things to read!

A Crownes Game is a fantasy story following a handful of characters and the way their life changed once the god of games got bored with how steady the world became. The new game they created? Pretty REDACTED for now, but it involves an ancient crown, one that allows the one to find it to claim rule over the continent of Evira. The story reads through different point of views of people who - for now - barely seem involved, until one starts having nightmares about the crown...

Its definitely the fifth chapter
