Hey everyone! I'm working on a modern-day reimagining of the gods as teenagers, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this design for Zeus!

It’s perfect! I really think the mad scientist/ crime lord vibe goes great with the theme of his powers in my opinion. Do you have any designs for other characters or you’re still working on it? Btw is he going to be a villain or hero in your reimagining? Just wondering because that might effect your design approach in terms of making him more evil looking or heroic by changing lighting or design elements is all. @Robert_S_S_Gordon

Yes, actually, I do have another character design! Here's Odin, king of the Norse gods!
I have a question, though, that's always been a big one for me. Who would win in a one-on-one fight, Odin or Zeus? What do you guys think?

Any fight always has multiple variables. Without spirit power involved there's the following factors mainly:

• physical strength
• aggression
• combat skills (this also includes intelligence, strategy, etc)
• speed
• luck

Considering they're both supreme gods, even the victor will come out taking damage. The battleground will look thoroughly damaged as well.

Based on the char designs, Zeus looks more like a tactical fighter vs Odin looks more like someone who relies on aggression and brute force.

Both methods of fighting... Have their downsides and upsides. Will definitely be an interesting fight

The Aegies itself has more potent powers, but the medusa head is able to turn enemies to stone

I like the way you break things down in terms of a fight! One of the things that others have mentioned to me is that Odin is prophesied to die in Ragnarok, therefore, he can't die before that time Appearances can be deceiving, lol. I think you'll really like my surprise once I'm able to reveal it

Yes, I'm in a few different sites, looking for those versed in mythology. By the way, are you familiar with Finnish mythology?

Vaguely. Most of it seems similar to Norse/Danish mythology but with some variations in the pantheon. Ilmarinen being the top dog as an alchemist and Ukko being a storm God successor of sort. They also see bears as holy creatures which is cool.
