Artists, what are your tips for drawing backgrounds?

So I'm sure I'm not alone in struggling with drawing backgrounds, especially more urban ones. For me, they usually end up feeling too 'stiff' for lack of a better word, and unnatural, or they don't fit well with any characters placed in them. Anyone got any tips?

What are your favorite things about the magical girl genre?

I love the transformations, the costumes, the fact that it centres on girls, the fun energy, the friendships, the optimism, the pretty magic..... i love it all! I do wish the genre could become more diverse, like set in different countries or time periods, or centre around girls of all different age…

Which game has the most replay value to you?

I've replayed Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 so many times. Like so many I love the combat, I love the characters, they're just really comforting experiences for me. I've also replayed the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy sooooo muchhhhhh. They're so much fun and pretty short so perfect for replays!
