Here is my stuff, i don't upload often because i'm busy working
My last page is the least popular. before that it was the previous 2 pages. Being losing views here but gaining on webtoons.
I also got a message from CaoMouse asking me to do the sub for sub. I just ignored it
I only use flat colors, to give my comic that classic comic book look. I use this palette: https://www.deviantart.com/j-skipper/art/Official-DC-Comics-375-Color-Palette-454936613 After that i do a printing effect on photoshop. During my first chapter i used Permanent Press by Mister Retro, but i f…
On my recent uploads i got, first 222, second 81 and last (today) 181. During the whole month i got between 3 and 125 views per day [image] Now this is for the overall comic. The updates themselves get less than 40 views.
I agree. All that reward stuff is stupid. I just earned first quote with this
For straight lines you probably want to use a ruler.

I use The G Pen stabilization at 12 and antialiasing off. Everything else at default values. You should show an example of what is happening to your lineart. Maybe you just need more practice. Also resolution can be a factor, a lot people i see worked with low res. I ussually work at 625 dpi (and r…
Milestone 100 subs (91 Right now) views i don't know, 6k i guess (i'm at 5.5k now)
Yeah i also discovered that tool recently. Like i said keep working and don't worry too much to keep a weekly schedule. Take the time you need to do your stuff.
Sometimes i see stuff i do and that i can do better, but what i do is looked to what i did wrong and don't do it again next time. Right now i'm kind of breaking that rule by doing a remake of a previous work, but the original i did it more than 10 years ago so i give myself a pass (i even publishe…
You already started it, if you can keep up just continue doing the way you are doing it. I did the same with the first chapter of my comic but i wasn't able to do a page a week. Here you can see the dates between each page. [image] With the new chapter i already have some stuff done, not all…
800x1200, 100 dpi. I use a traditional comic page format
Even if you don't do the sub x sub thing you will get this. On twitter i have some 1300 followers, mostly post drawings. Average post get something between 40 to 70 likes, little to no comment. Very few times i get more than 100
Normally the names i use is from some other movie or comic or even a song. For instance the comic i'm publishing here, Maneater is because of the Daryl Hall & John Oates song The main character Barbara is called like that because of a character from an Argentinian comic (Called Barbara) [imag…
This one i made with color pencils, gouache and some black ink. The only digital thing is the background [image]
First page of "The Old Man and The Girl" MANEATER chapter 2. [image]
Less than a 100 here (only 18 more to get there) Chapter 2 starts this week
A commission i did today. Is for a music album (progressive rock i think) [image]
I use Redbubble but i rarely promote it. Like joannekwan said, you make little profit but you only have to upload the file (no need to deal with shipping and all that)
Twitter worked really well for me.
CGA style drawing. [image]
I wasted 10 years on deviantart, so i don't think i'm going back. Facebook and Twitter helped me to do pretty good business, now a lot of the work comes to me instead of me trying to find it.
this one, i lke it because it has reference to martial art movies from the 80s. The art is kind of unnusual for me (normally go for more traditional realism) You can tell the artist puts some work in it
What i did was first to share my twitter on my facebook page (i think at the time i got like 300 or 400 followers there) and got some people from it. Then one day i did a fanart and tagged the creator of the original thing and got retweeted. From that i started to gain some following. My recomend…
Thanks! I do work professionally as a comic artist (small indie stuff) but this one is the first i do on my own (ussually only do the art and in black and white)
