Usually using your main character(s) is a great way to go! Good luck making yours. I hope you got inspired by some of the images here! [image]

The first thing that came to mind as a theme song for Amy Plays Games was The Stanley Parable Adventure Line song.

Here's my comic, Amy Plays Games! I make comics about the crazy and funny things that happen to me when I play video games! They're all true stories.

You and me both! I love that little robot too much

Most of the time it's off and on motivation for Amy Plays Games and I'm mostly using that comic to get better at developing my skills. I'm actually more obsessed with working on the story for another comic that's been going around in my head.

I drew some fan art of my favorite character, Penny. Let's just say that Vol. 3 was a bad time for me. Can't wait for Vol. 4! [image]

Power Puff Girls. I have the 20th anniversary DVD set. I also really love Courage the Cowardly Dog and Samurai Jack.

I just joined the Steam group because I just recently thought about Tapastic people being on Steam! Since I do make a video game comic, it would be really fun to add some of you guys to my comic if you played some multiplayer games with me. My steam ID is Tindabox but my alias is Combat Ready. I t…

Hello! I'm Amy and I'm a comic creator. It's very nice to meet you. As for snow, I have very little experience with the stuff! I've probably only seen 4 times in my entire life. Do you enjoy snow? For me, I feel like snow is one of those things that you want it if you don't get it and don't want i…

Thank you! I'll try my best to remind myself to keep upvoting you guys.

I use my own handwriting, which I should probably make a font out of it for convenience sake. When I put it to a poll, people liked handwritten better.

Thank you! I'm also a sucker for alliteration.

As a personal preference, I like when comics are spaced out a bit so I can have something to look forward to, BUT if I'm caught up in the story I get really frustrated because I just have to know what happens next. If I were you I'd post either 2 or 3 times a week to give yourself a lot of time to w…

I'll join in and help you guys. Here's my comic, Amy Plays Games

My favorite OC for like a year and a half now is my character Princess Primrose Pennant of Prendaloth. She's a character from a comic/story that's a work in progress. She's a princess from an isolated northern kingdom known for their warriors and skills on the battle field, who falls in love with…

To be honest, I mostly read Action or Horror manga because the art styles are what mainly pulls me in. I'm a big fan of Junji Ito because he really knows how to keep the reader feeling uncomfortable even after putting the book down. One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure are …

I really should make a new one! This one has nothing to do with me playing games. [image]

Living in the real world and having the ability to be the main character in any video game doesn't sound so bad. I would be very desensitized to dying, but yeah I'd probably live in my comic's world since I would have "main character immunity".

I mainly use my laptop, but I use my phone when I'm out and about. I just wish the mobile app had a way to check your notifications! (Unless it does and I just have no idea how to access it)

I'm a very picky eater I really like dating sims I don't have the patience to read books as much as I would like Trains are my favorite form of transportation I'm really interested in people's histories

Aww thank you. I try my best! The work in progress is a fantasy webcomic about a sort-of-warrior Princess whose fiance, a Prince she's about to marry, gets kidnapped. She makes it her mission to bring him home with the help of a royal guard, an enchantress, and a wizard who can never get a break.…

I'm sorry for your loss. I would like to be remembered as someone who could put a smile on someone's face. It would also be nice to be remembered for my creations as well!

Fair enough! You can still learn a bit about fellow creators though and probably a little recognition.

I'm not really bothered by the BL label because it's convenient for people that are actively looking for that sort of thing. The content might be a little questionable, but you can't stop people from drawing what they want.

I haven't done a Q&A yet because the comic is still sort of new and I'm still building an audience. BUT every Sunday some of the Tapastic creators do #ComicTalk on Twiiter. I think there's some questions that the comic artists can answer. It's sort of like a Q&A

A scene from a recent comic. It cracks me up every time I think about it. [image]

What keeps me going? Whenever one of my friends (I'm talking about friends who I would never suspect in a million years to even read comics) say "Have you read her comics? They're super funny!" I cry with happiness on the inside (and almost the outside) every time.

I'm currently in University in Louisiana as an Animation major. I have a feeling that this semester is going to kick my butt because it's almost senior year for me.

My comic, Amy Plays Games, is about me (a sort of androgynous female protagonist) and my struggles in playing video games! I really wanted to catalog the crazy and random stuff that happens to me during these play-throughs. The language is strong from time to time so it's not really for all ages. I…

My first original character was a Nercomancer named Kimi. I think she also had a demon friend. 7th Grade was a pretty weird time for me.
