I did read your comic, the characters are highly detailed and you handled the positioning of the camera very well.
There are two suggestions I would like to make those
You comic's description describes too much and it may scare some readers away. One way you could structure it is like this. You state the problem, how it affects your character and then a cliff hanger question to hook in your reader. The max the description should be two paragraphs.
The main cast you did say are evil and care little for life. However, killing the child seems a overboard. Killing children isn't really a narrative tool you should use unless you want the reader to care less of the killer. One thing you could do is have her spare the child by saying "Killing children a waste of time." This way you can show her antagonistic attitude without resorting a death of a child. This action in itself can make the character a little more likable.
