Personally I find the blue to be alot more aesthetically pleasing as compared to the to the grey, but ultimately I think the story matters more.
I personally don't quite like it. Look at wattpad. The number of teens who post there, stories seemingly relatable, yet overdone. Its unfiltered, thats why it sucked. Though, I honestly think that might slowly kill off the webcomics. But, we just have to wait and watch.
Idk, Personally, I plan it all out. I know exactly what I want to convey with each comic I make. I leave the details out for last. I find the story to be more important than the world, in some cases. @okellymx Didn't want to spam. What I meant was that I personally, write out the dialogues, the s…
Craig Thompson. Though my art is nothing like his.
Thank you all for responding, Honestly, I wasn't expecting this many replies.. I apologise for my insensitivity, if any. I wish you all the best in life and hope you find a way to balance the two
Well, I mean with good time management skills and early planning, its possible. Idk, maybe they're lazy?
Thats exactly how I see it
That way you wont have to struggle to earn a living. Just takes time. Its illogical, considering how the world currently works.
Inner peace.........
I personally don't wish to constrict myself to a specific style. I choose a style that fits the story. I don't really care about the amount of work. Ill do what needs to be done to please the readers and the writer. I don't run away from hard work.
It should be an open genre thing where the creator gets to tag it, or even create tags for their webcomics. You're not exaggerating, you're simplifying searches for the users.
Personally, I don't really worry about subscribers. I tend to create for myself. I would want to share it with others. Give them a different perspective, without forcing them to subscribe or whatsoever. If they want to, then okay. If they don't want to, then okay. But it is important to communica…
Hello. I have been working on an idea and I'm not ready to present it yet, so I figured, that in the mean time, I would want to help someone else with their story. If they need an artist, I wouldn't mind helping out for free. It would give me exposure and keep me active socially. As of my drawi…
To bring about a different perspective. The reader would have their own personal interpretation of it, but if I see it in a different way, I'm sure they will too.
The way you tell it. You may tell a simple story that seems cliche but everyone interprets it differently, that itself would be originality. What it means to you and the reader.
Personally, I would start by showing the relationship between them. I would want the readers to know how they felt, why they felt that way and why one of them made that decision. But that's just me, you can definitely start it better. Good Luck! 😊
Blankets by Craig Thompson, Manual of the warrior of light by Paulo Coelho, Norwegian wood by Haruki Murakami The brothers Karamazov by fyodor Dostoevsky these 4.
Wow, what do you mean by that? Care to share..?
I wouldn't tell him a thing.
Making a page would take less than an hour. Unless I lack a plan. Then It'd take forever.
When the 'Novels' section gets added, theres a chance that the comics section might drop in views and newer artists might have trouble when it comes to being 'seen'.
Well, Ive been there. You gotta build some discipline, if youre not much of an action oriented person.. but which writer/artist is one?(noneormaybejustafew) Personally, passion and consistency is linked to the purpose. I always ask myself on the purpose of my art/writing. Though, that can be rather…
Its rather tough me.. 1) Idk, suddenly everything makes sense and i have a plot in my head. 2) dont write anything down yet, let the idea slowly develop. * since im not doing this full time, i can afford to take it slow. 3) if the idea had developed by itself, and i can remember it clearly, then i…
LOL the 'A' in 'INFJ-A' stands for Assertive.
INFJ here. TBH, I've been planning to upload a comic, but I just got to figure out the purpose of it. Anyone can draw and make a comic, but what can I give thats Insightful and abstract.. Definitely can't do it for the sake of it. But i don't think my type affects my art style. All it helps me …
Oh... I wonder, would we have to pay to publish here on Tapastic when they include apple's and google's in app purchasing mechanics...?.... I'll have to wait and see where Tapastic is going before i start posting anything.
Hello. I need some data. For a sliceoflife-sorta comic, which layout would be easier for the readers? I was originally planning to do a layout like Calvin and Hobbes, but i understand that its rather hard for the audience to read it when uploading it here. So, In your opinion, what layout woul…
Personally my ideas tend to just.. appear out of nowhere. Its hard to find a resembling existing one, and that isn't too good. Im not sure if people will appreciate something that deviates from the norm. Though, even if an idea is used, just keep developing yours. Ultimately, how you tell your ver…
Some things come naturally, so I'd call that talent. But those who actually work hard to develop it are a whole lot more respectable.
Lol if the artist has that kind of attitude, then he/she shouldn't be on the forums asking for others opinions.
