I think those questions are always resolved with the author itself? You want a cameo in your comic or a real colleboration like doing an illustration or another thing?
(But gaining more subscribers hasn't got a lot of things in common with collaborating

Someone came to my picarto and said "you should check those websites for your webcomics". And that's pretty much it. Another friend used Tapastic while I was only on Inkblazers and told me the good benefits of Tapastic.
I like seeing them either on the creator's wall page or on a brand new serie for extras
