How much time did it take you to reach lots of subscribers?

I started off really slow. I would get about 5 subs after every new episode I uploaded, and then it just sort of stayed at 46 for about a week. Then I woke up to like 133 and by the end of the day I got about 300+ subs in about a day (I have no idea how). The whole day was about 10-15 subs a minute…
