Get rich quick, but it's real.
Alternatively: Romance / BL. xD
You're right, it's better to ask, hopefully them have time to answer lol.
YES!!! lmao.
Be right back, gonna buy some lucky charms
I was just poking some fun at people here that say an online following is almost mandatory to success, I don't disagreee that much tbh, but I saw a few comics blow up on their platform alone (rare tho) sorry, low quality bait
Nope, I'm not calling the author out, I'm just using their success as study case, I respect the author and I love their comic
I just realized that an online following prior to publishing the comic is a lie, that person barely have an online following (mostly twitter, but very small in comparison to the comics' subscriber numbers) and they tried 6 times, and failed 5, what can you learn from that case? (I respect the author…
I'll email you again then, check your spam folder too.
I can't pay you right now, but if my comic makes any money, then I'll pay you, deal?
Thank you very much, and a follow-up question: How about the original webtoon creators with minimal, or zero engagement in social media/other creators that also got there in a few chapters? like the creator of: I'm the grim reaper ??? my bet is they're really good in both art, and story, but maybe…
I'm sorry, by "Featured" I meant "Original" like an "Exclusive" webtoon with contract, after 6 episodes the author got an offer to be original/featured.
There's a few webtoons that become "original" in less than 10 episodes, while others take hundreds of episodes... I wonder what criteria they use. [image]
Yes, it's the same for shoujo manga, and Doramas, they go well together.
The Romance Reader Female: 82% Male: 18% Ethnicity: 73% White/Caucasian, 12% Black/African American, 7% Latino/Hispanic, and 4% Asian/Asian American. Sexual orientation: 86% heterosexual or straight; 9% bisexual, pansexual, or other bi+ identity; 2% gay or lesbian.
The audience skews 60-65% female and 30-35% male, with 16- to 24-year-olds the largest age group.
I see, thanks, follow-up question: Do you think that they want to attract a male audience using their anime? I feel like the new "original" webtoons are more diverse in genre (the majority is still romance) but now there's stuff like "The Boxer" and "Omniscient Reader"
My guess is that they want to attract the mainstream audience, and stuff similar to Battle Shounen tend to be more popular in general, but maybe there's something else that I don't get, thanks in advance.
I just checked those comics, and I really doubt that an artist capable of doing this level of art is roaming this forum, they're probably too busy creating comics for a living lol (sorry, I don't want to be mean, I just want you to be more realistic about your wants)
Artist here, I could copy your art style and help speed up the whole thing. (I already know which methods you used to create those frames by reverse enginering them lol) Let's do some Shoujo / Yaoi for Lezhin, I can be your co-artist.
So what art style do you want for this comic? I'm interested, but maybe my art style doesn't fit it either, do you have any examples of art styles similar to what you want?
All-Star Superman is why I became a Superman fan. (I used to hate him / think he's boring) Both the animated movie, and specially the comic are 10/10, if you don't like it, you have bad taste lmao, or you're too edgy, in that case, watch the movie Superman Vs The Elite (Edgylords) then hopefully …
