thank you so much @CarltonIsaac I recommend people read Looking for Oasis, it's has a great story and art.

I love this comic, it deserves so much more attention! Also this comic is great, a thriller noir drama which i binged. and this one is reminiscent of 'older' comic vibes (conan the barbarian)

Bit of dark humor and a bit of titties. I loved making this page. (i put disclaimer on my page, that the strip was based on an artwork i found about ritual sacrifice, but i can't find the original artist so if you know let me know!) [image] read more here <3

it's free to read and create. Pure joy.

I was using a wacom bamboo which i got second hand (i think around 80EUR) since 2009. I worked professionally as a 2D game artist and made lineart commissions on the side with it. You can achieve the exact same quality with a tablet as a screen tablet, the only difference is it will take you a lit…

the page link doesn't work and I need to find out what this cheescake is about!

I'm so sorry you feel this way Liann :frowning: What I do to tackle fear is to break it down logically: 'i am scared to start because I feel like I can't do it'. You are assuming you will fail. And what does failure mean? Does it mean you would be kicked out of this community? Does it mean you will be inva…

"The pillaging happened so fast, all Chad could get was this shabby game made out of cheap wood...actually it might even be plastic. Anyhow, Chad didn't take the story of the old woman seriously, but the game was haunted."

"Personally I believe that rape is a form of lazy character development most of the time." is what i wrote, and in context of modern TV shows. I did not say it is lazy writing, or that people are not allowed to express their traumas through their art. However, in popular media it is often used as…

Personally I believe that rape is a form of lazy character development most of the time. It is used to make 'girls' turn into 'women' but having their 'innocence' stripped. I see it in so many TV shows and books... biggest I can think of off the top of my head is Sansa from the tv show Game of Thron…

I think your art style is super adorable! Very lovely, expressive characters. It's hard to give more feedback since there's only 2 released pages so far. I subbed and when I see more i'll give you more feedback right now all i want is more

I read an essay a while back that monster romance/mythology was a way for people to encourage young girls about arranged marriages to much older dudes. Like yeah he ugly, but he is rich and powerful and will care for you. I still love those stories though. :3

Weight loss/Make Over Tv shows. Seeing people triumph over their demons and go through a physical and mental transformation... gimme all that.

Yes! They work for me, i love looking at mine for around 20-30min a day, it makes me feel more motivated and happy. I live in the south of Finland where we get an average of 6 hours of sunlight in winter. The lamp definitely helps, and also vitamin D supplements. But you might have to combine the S…

Don't Starve Hamlet. The solo player mode.

making feet look interesting. But I do not get an emotional response when drawing topics/scenes.

awww i love it! Funny and cute ^^ I'd say have a consistent schedule (once a week, twice a week?) Have you promoted your work here on the forums? Also get engaged in the community, be genuine. Post on social media (insta, twitter, tumblr still a thing?) When people sub to you thank you on their wa…

Doing inktober with drawtober prompts (since they are weekly themes which are less stressful) I'll post all on my insta and twitter (new): https://twitter.com/magaliseart [image]

oooh that's a really nice tip! thx for sharing

I used this tutorial to help prepare my webcomic!

hah, my comic's name is a play on words of Necronomicon :stuck_out_tongue: I plan on incorporating more of the Lovecraft mythology (at this point) into my stories.

what book do you currently recommend? any genre, any theme.

my eyes goes to the guy who's turned around in the middle.

depends. on average 8-10 hours. but that one closer to 24 (lots of bg edits, and the face was troublesome so i redid it a lot).

i take a forced break every 2 hours for 20min where i stretch, do the dishes, do something else--- and it's the hardest thing in my life. But so important especially if you sit all day.

Yes! I love short stories. There is a Niche for it.

Welcome! subbed and looking forward to the serie's continuation!

i'm at 246 right now! A series of one-shot slice of life comics about the occult in contemporary times. Would love it if you could check it out

Time efficiency and i love line craftsmanship. This series is a passion project for mine, but with a fulltime job 'on the side' coloring would be impossible to keep the schedule... [image] Here's the link :
