Thumbnails and no script can work if you still work out a plot summary before beginning thumbnails. If you can break the story down page by page at least. This helps with pacing of the story so you get an idea of how fast plot points will move and can avoid cramping a story or dragging it out. Then …

Exactly, I see this working better for a more traditional style comic with an overall story and definitive ending point rather than ongoing webcomics that are short one to three panels in nature and each strip is more or less independent narratives. It will be up to creators and tapastic to decide…

Gael Force It's a print comic that we are also putting up on tapastic. It's about a team of university student super heroes who defend their campus from villainous threats. Made by university students in Canada and set on our campus. [image]

I started a comic book club at our university in Canada and we made our own full 24 page comic book last year as a group. It is possible to balance both you just have to be committed and plan your time wisely. If that's what you enjoy doing then keep doing it! Who knows maybe you can find other stud…

You might be able to do it but people on tapastic are expecting comics since that's what the site is designed for so the reception you get may not be worth your time. Having some images you might get away with it but figure out your goals with the project and find the best site to meet those goals. …

besides replying to comments do you have any other ways to interact with followers on Tapastic? An outside social media presence is nice but having interaction on the site is good too right?

Webcomics are such a great medium that they can adapt to new trends really quickly in an organic way without it being forced. So cool new trends do show up in web comics and spread if they are good.

As for story inspiration try to figure out what you enjoy and what you know a lot about. Start with a gen…

The comics industry is growing so there is some merit to what you are saying. Tapastic is the best place for webcomics right now but its hard to say whether a better competitor will enter the market or if the market will stop growing if the movies dry up. I would say the potential is there but who k…

That sucks Someone on Deviantart stole one of my pieces and removed my small watermark. It was easy to get it taken down but in the open web its a lot scarier. Good luck.

Haven't used them yet but printninja looks great for larger runs. For small runs I would try to find a local printer or if not use Greko

Everyone is saying its entirely up to you which is correct. However since you asked the question I am assuming you are having a hard time deciding which is very common. The advice I would have for that is to experiment on an example panel for you comic and see what different styles you can come up w…

"Uhhh It's okay bro it's normal for people to still wet the bed"

Generally from my experience celebrities don't mind fanart especially if its good since it builds their popularity and they often enjoy it. Fan fic is probably also fine but more so when you do it for a character that a real person plays rather than the real person themselves. Also the less popular…
