Sounds very cool! I always go through a story to make sure it isn't too similar to something already created, but as of right now it sounds interesting Now, decendant wise, would it be the protagonist going to a blood-relative, or simply a friend or such that he is emotionally tied to?

well the party is really cool! It gives a very Maccabre look and I really respect the anatomy to the creatures, because although they aren't all humanoid it certainly looked correct, if that makes sense
