I've been here since March 30th 2014. It's been really cool seeing how some of the creators who joined around the same time as I (like Cyndi, KatFrendly24, Nox, Uzuki, Sugar Fiend, Little Endian, Wognif, HeSerpenty, harrodeleted, Getsu, SarahN, and many others) have grown, and developed as the site changed and developed (and still is going through much change) I feel as if they're like my virtual neighbors right next door lol! As well as getting some front row seats to seeing some major success jumps like with Pigeoneer Jane, AffectedMind, darian, Zelkats, Harrodeleted, Kurt Snyder, Joanne Kwan, AllentheLost, Rommie, (just to name a few).
My time here has been a emotional rollercoaster, especially at the beginning, struggling with self-worth, stability, trying to get a footing, trying to find my place amongst so many talented artists, trying not to let jealousy, anger and self-doubt get in the way of learning other creators stories and just making so many amazing friends. There comes a time when it becomes so much more than just numbers.
I feel as I very much belong here and love how I can just jump onto my neighboors walls and ask how they're doing or just geek out with other just overall friendly users about webcomics. I have always received support from everyone here even in my low-times. And dang have I learned so much... ;w;
