100 days of art

I started reading the Kenneth Silverman biography of Houdini (our Holy Bible in the fandom) and to make it more fun for me, I’m going to draw doodles of whatever came to my head while documenting the pages I read.

My favorite sketch is the needles and thread trick. Yeah, it’s a little gross but I like it.

I´m really happy with the first 2 finished pages of the comic collab team that
I have with 4 other members from the forum. This is the most fun I had making
comics since a long time. It´s crazy how much you learn from doing this with
way less time spent than with other practice.

I made the faces practice pretty sloppy because I would never draw
faces like this and got used to a mix between Loomis and Reilley.
It´s still a good theoretical practice but I don´t feel motivated

Day 22 and I overcame my overthinking with the help of
@abigaillmartin and finished a storyboard / first draft of
a 12 panel cartoon. I will sketch for it and work on the
second draft today

I think this is the next one I´m doing because it´s one of my many weaknesses.
I´ll probably have to split it in parts

The task today was to draw a chest but I drew one of those thingys,
I don´t know what they are called in english, in german they are called
Greifer which directly translates to Grabber. The carnival was in town last
weekend and they always have those. I spent a lot of money on one
of them when I was a teen, I wanted to get the Rambo knife
