4 Panel Comic dimensions?

I made my the first part of my comic in four panels and i want to be sure it's not to big. The dimensions are there following: 800x2400. My comic will not be only four panel comics i'll be switching it up and use the standard comic paneling but i would like to know what would be best for both PC and mobile.

If the panels are wider than tall, 800 should be ok. But if they're square or taller than wide, I would size it down to perhaps even 650 px wide, so long as the text is still legible. I think the ideal should be, if you're on a standard monitor, to see at least the better part of 2 panels starting at the top of the episode. Because I hate it when one panel takes up the entire screen and there's no reason for it and then it's just a bunch of scrolling for the reader. Um, let me know if I need to explain myself better. lol

agreed; 800 wide should be ok. i also use a 4-panel format and i've played around with the dimensions until I settled with 700x2300 px (that's just my preference since I like my panels cozy and the overall file size light).

My strips are only 3 panel, and they're 600 x 1757. It just kinda worked out that way. I think it works fine and fits well with what everyone else is doing.
