A comic with...Alternative Endings?! 🤯

So..this is something I´ve thinking alot and its crazy...... like I´m not finished with my story yet and I´m just getting startedxDx but I´ve been having this idea a few times

for example you have your comic finished but you can offer different endings to your audience

(a good ending, a bad ending, neutral ending, etc etc.) creating them if the characters did different choices and so on (like in games) and possibly they could be all canon
so... what do you guys think ?

I don't think I've read a comic like that before, it sounds like a lot of work, but if what you want is to make sure that your audience leaves the series satisfied in the end than giving them multiple endings could be a good way to go about it.

Something like this would take a lot of planning to do and isn't as easy to do online as it is for a physical book but it's a cool concept.

Of course you can do that!
It's called a Gamebook genre, (or style, really) and depending on the decisions of the reader, the adventure go in whole different directions. I find it fascinating.

Choose your own adventure/CYOA style stories aren't all that new actually! Maybe a bit uncommon but it's totally possible. I've actually been considering trying the style for a supernatural/paranormal type story I'm working on but I haven't fully made up my mind on it yet.

From a reader perspective but also a creator standpoint I think they're really cool! Reading or coming up with branching narratives is pretty fun plus it's like playing fates or something

Yeah, we've been considering this for a pretty long time now. The end of the comic is nowhere in the near future though, so we still have enough time to think it through and prepare

I actually have this planned already... right now the current alternate ending for my comic is posted on Facebook to test people's reaction to it (it was more active there at the time). And with that, people were both scared and surprised by the outcome but knows it's an alternative ending that they didn't expect and just brushed it off.
