A question about webtoon

whenever you update an episode on webtoon, does it notify your subscriber like tapastic does?

It's supposed to...but it can be slow at times.I'll be checking out Webtoons and looking through my lists, reading some new comics on the App.

And then like, an hour later, I'll get a quick message saying, hey that new chapter you were reading just got released. I think there are times where I don't get a message at all. It feels very inconsistent at times and that's with the App. I don't think there's anything for the website itself to remind you.

I only use the browser interface, and I have literally never received a notification about anything.

yes it does via email and if they have the app it sends a notif.

I use the app and recieve a push notification almost the instant a comic updates. I figure this is why I get the majority of my comments within the first 5 minutes.

Tapas push notifications seem to have a delay of roughly 4 hours, for me at least.

What about if you update an old episode
Will a notification still be sent or is it only sent when new episodes are uploaded

I haven't seen any app notifications for edits myself. I think only Tapas on desktop does that - and it's included with all the activity notifications so people usually miss them.

I've also notice that I only get an E-mail notification for featured series. The regular non-featured series I've subscribed to have yet to give me any notifications via E-Mail.
