A very belated hello to an intimidating number of talented creators

Hello! HELLO. Hey. Hey, how you doin'?

I am (just) the writer of Starfall, which has been drawn by several people (currently, an insanely talented woman that makes me feel bad that I even try to write sometimes).

So, there's this thing called a "forum" apparently and it's super popular and I somehow had no idea it existed and I'm still figuring my way around navigating it. Until now, my only direct contact with my audience has been in a few scant replies and via Twitter. I've got the comic posted in a few locations and most of the readers are fairly quiet, so seeing how well everyone gets on here and seeing the wide selection of comics...honestly, this is my first time digging in and looking around and I regret everyday that I've spent being curious and not poking my nose in.

So, I just wanted to say hello! I hope that I'm able to come on here enough to get to know the lot of you!

And you are obviously a talented and hardworking writer if you have several talented artists who are happy to work with you. Never underestimate your worth!

Thank you! Don't worry, I'm not devaluing my contribution without some thought...the story was mine, the characters, their voices, and so on, but my prose is relatively lifeless, especially in comparison with the right artist taking over visualization duties. And each artist has transformed the work in different ways, sometimes permanently, almost always for the better. There's no comic without me (the writer), but the artists all have their own work, their own visions, Tumblrs full of creativity, so there'd still be art. I'm a necessary evil. ^_-
