I saw a few creators with less then a 100 subs and some lower then my but they have the support button. why?

it's likely that they requested to have it activated during the last support event (which was Spring Inksgiving back in April or May) by emailing Michael

Someone asked this beforehand. Essentially, a lot of people got permission during Inksgiving.

Also, have you checked if they have any other work in the site? Sometimes they have the ink unlocked in a work with less than the required subs because they already achieved that number in other work of them

Their total subs was small some smaller the mine which is 50.

Hello! One of those people here.

During inks giving you can kindly ask the tapas staff to unlock ink for you early so you can participate. They are kind enough to allow us to all do that- if we ask nicely and in a timely manner.

That’s exactly what I did.

I mean, I’ve reached 250 on one of my works now, but back then I was short. I had people asking how they could support me so I emailed Michael during the event and he unlocked it for me. To be fair, I thought it would only be available during the duration of the event, but it stayed.

Same. I did it too and was somewhat expecting that it would be for the event only. But thinking of it it's pretty logical that it would stay. If one has less than 250 subs I suppose it's unlikely they could accumulate over $25 in ink at the event, so the ink would be lost or locked until the creator reach 250 subs.

Just email Michael during the Inksgiving event.

Ask him: Can you please activate support for me for the upcoming support event?

Then send him a url of your Tapas page so they know which account.

Then thank him kindly.
