ACT 1 & 2 ? conundrum

I have a question and I'm probably gonna get a bunch of different answers

My story is in ACT 1 and ACT 2 and I was wondering if I should post Act 2 as a separate story,
or continue Act 2 from Act 1 (or both) ??? I've been stuck on this for quite a while so I think i might need an outsider's perspective from my overthinking (Thank you)

One question I learned to ask myself when I started doing serials is "Would a brand new reader be able to understand the series if they read the stories out of order?"

If they won't be able to understand the story, I would keep them as part of the same story title. If each act can be read as it's own story arc, then why not separate them.

Personally, I'd keep it all as one. No point in trying to scrape up a subscriber base all over again.

I'm actually coming soon to this point with my own story. Book 1 is completed (but not all published yet, so far not even half is published) and I'm well into Book 2, but when I do start publishing that it'll just be added on to the first one.
