All fantasy comics creators aboard!

Already started posting around here, so it's a little bit late for introductions, but here I am anyway! I've finally gotten the guts to post my own comic series on Tapastic, and decided that I'd get it out there, but at the same time check out others' series too!

So, if you have or know some series which have a fantasy theme or even just a few fantasy elements in it, post a link to it here and maybe add a brief summary to it. c:

Meanwhile, if you feel like it, do check out mine too! Another Dragon Tale is about bringing a twist (or rather, more than one) to the usual tale about a damsel in distress being saved from the dragon by some knight in shinning armor. The story will contain comedy, lots of silly puns, all kinds of romance, and face-palm worthy adventures.

So, I'll list some fantasy webcomic I follow + mine (because I've got a fantasy webcomic too ). And as fantasy is a pretty big genre, there will be different kind of fantasy too!

Oops Comic Adventure by @CyndiFoster

A young street urchin named Oops, living in the medieval city of Castlebury, stealing what he can to get by in a dangerous and very lonely life. But when he steps in to save a small rat from death something inside him awakens; a powerful magic that is able to revive the creature, granting him size and even a voice; but such a feat comes at the cost of Oops’ ability to speak. With only an ancient watch lid serving as a hint to his past, Oops and his new friend (named Plague) set out to learn the truth behind Oops’ life and new abilities, but magic is heavily banned, and the feared King Hectric Tepper won’t show mercy just for him being a child…

Giant

Deedrick is having a very bad day.
After one of his alchemical experiments goes wrong, he is forced to straddle a plank of wood and hang off the castle battlement to clean the bird crap off of of the resident gargoyles. When he drops his brush he inadvertently causes a chain of events that wakes a sleeping giant which goes on a rampage through his town. If anyone is to survive this disaster he will have to have a serious change of luck.

Little Gods

Self-proclaimed best warlock in the world, Albatros was calmly living his life by himself in his hidden castle when someone suddenly and completely messed up his life.
Alone, with no magic left and transformed into an albatro (by his fault only), he has no other choice than begging an adventurous 12 years old to help him regain his dignity.
Obviously this is not going to go smoothly...

And thanks a lot for the subscribe as well! I've seen your webcomic before and must say I love your art style! Silly me might have forgotten to subscribe when I first found it. This is what happens when I check out too many comics at once, I guess.

Ohmigosh! So many to check out! I'll have to make some time to read each of them! They all look awesome! owo I think I'll read more of them tomorrow morning too, if I don't get to, tonight.

Your comic looks like it'll be interesting, I'm a sucker for a twist on an old tale. (Also the art is really pretty) Will definitely be keeping my eye on it! : )

And I guess I'll throw it out there that I've got a fantasy comic, Catihorn. It's a character driven fantasy mostly following a cat guy as he deals with monsters, magic, and a lot of other nonsense after getting a job working for a unicorn prince. It's got a mix of comedy, and darker themes, if that floats your boat, haha.

My comic Morgan and Dragons Takes place in a fantasy setting

Description: This is a comic based off of an OSRIC campaign that my friends and I have started. The story at times may be slightly altered to better fit the visual storytelling of a comic but otherwise will be kept as true to the actual happenings as possible. (including all horrible dice rolls) The story is based in a kingdom where magic is outlawed by everyone but paladins and clerics that serve the church/king The story will be based around all player's Characters but closely follows the two main characters: Alaric and Luna, the Paladin and the Mage.

As for ones i read i haven't seen Thicker then blood , Tistow or Kings Folly on the list yet

My comic, The Woken, is more of a contemporary fantasy, so for the most part it takes place in a modern setting, though it does have parts that stretch back deep into the past.

No mention of Witchy yet? It's got solid art and very strong writing. At a first glance, it may seem like a typical high school story about a main character who's a victim of bullying, but there is SO much more to it. And it's fantasy, of course. The school teaches magic, in a kingdom whose system relies on magic for many things, from daily life to military.

My comic Heroes for ghosts is much more science fiction than fantasy, but it has elements that I think would appeal to some fantasy fans including lots of crazy beasties, swordplay, and cultures that exist in a pre-technological state( or this case a POST technological state). Check it out!

Heh, my fantasy comic is Tales of Skyra and is the story outline for a video game I plan to create someday.

Sprocket is a young Kardonian living in the distant land of Skyra. Unbeknownst to him, an ancient evil that has long been slumbering is beginning to reawaken, wreaking havoc across the land. He must gather up his courage and the help of a few friends in order to prevent Skyra from collapsing completely.

A bear and a bird travel the world and right that which is wrong. Boulder and Fleet is one of the sweetest, most adorable and well-drawn comics on this site, and I simply DO NOT understand why not more people are reading it.

Tales from the Well. A boy prince falls down a cursed well and goes on creepy adventures in the underworld.

Unravel has only just gotten started, but it's off to a good start! It's got traveling doctors, cool ladies in charge of armies, country-wide conflict, etc., etc.

Star Watcher is a little bit different. Its set in a world populated only by animals and so all the characters are, understandably, animals as well. The story is based on the relationship and ensuing adventure of a puppy and a fallen star!

but if there's still some interest
I just recently started a comic here as well.
it's a prologue right now (not that much left)

but after that is over the main story is about
a god going "bad", bad like evil. and someone
needs to help him. it takes place on a whole other
planet, where magic, dragons and other mythological
creatures exist.

Here's mine - Malleus Maleficarum. I would consider it a historical fantasy(albeit maybe only 10% historical lol). It's loosely based on the history of witches, primarily the Salem Witch Trials. So expect lots of witch hunts, magic and the occasional court room drama. I'm still at the early stages of the story, where it in set in present day London. But the story shifts to a more fantasy tone eventually.

I highly recommend Daughter of the Lilies, which is about a masked mage and her mercenary coworkers. It's not on Tapastic but it's my most favorite comic ever. Currently it's on a month-long hiatus while the newest chapter is in production.
