Alright here we go.
This is my action Sci Fi comic. Feel free to check it out. The story is ending soon.

Read the 1st chapter: this is good for a first shot! Don't worry about being a newbie, we all start somewhere.

My suggestion would be to use a bit more commas and, where you can, to paint a picture for the reader.

For example, instead of "Dean was instantly impressed with luxury cars" you could also say "Dean's wide eyes sparkled as his lips parted into a toothy grin. 'Wow! Wasn't expecting preferential treatment like this!'" (if you go this route, be careful not to overdo it. Sometimes it's fine just to tell the reader what's going on). You can also list names of the luxury cars in the room to add an element of realism. Keep writing and honing your craft!

I'm really enjoying checking these out so far! I may not be able to leave constructive feedback for all, but appreciate the work being shared here.

Here's my writing:

Really enjoyed this. I like your use of colours, the character design, and particularly the attention to detail in how you draw buildings, roads, etc. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

This is just a low-fantasy, supernatural, mystery, drama mess of a novel. Not a horror series and not intended to be remotely scary or disturbing (trust me it is not). It's just a normal fantasy-mystery but involves ghost.

Thanks for your comments!:grinning: I don't plan to do anything with it at the moment because I don't really have the time. I used Grammarly, for punctuation, which is why it's written the way it is. And I originally wrote it out as a synopsis for a film idea. And I decided to flesh it out as a story and post it, to see if people think it's any good or not.

The horror elements are all there, Vampire, Mystery, Blood, I'm definitely influenced by a lot of horror in my comic. But I've got a Superhero/Horror thing going on. But I mean just look at my character, total Nosferatu influence going on here.

Hope you enjoy it!

Mine is "Grim Reaper in training"
Its about a Grim Reaper and a girl who can see ghosts. they try to lead the ghosts into the afterlife and investigate the strange purple smoke, who attack nice ghosts.
By now its only on webtoon, but soon I will upload the series anew because I am no longer satisfied with it and with this I will also upload it on tapas. Release 16.12.2020

Here's my series! It's actually a Romance/Sci-fi about a space princess!

Mine is called GHOST CALAMITY, though it just launched and probably will not get super spooky until Halloween. Still, maybe you like it.

This was a fun read and the characters seem to have a lot of personality. The comedic elements are a nice touch, too (not always easy to do horror-comedy).

I write nothing but Horror honestly but here are my most 'horror' like stories:

A toxic Horror Romance between two very broken people with superpowers:

A pure gothic horror with a creepy vampire and a ton of gore.

Enjoy!

Indeed, I did enjoy this one and am curious about what happens next. In particular, the fact you've veered away from the common female vampire trope; i.e. the sensual yet deadly damsel (which is fine; but fresh interpretations of vampires, like Carpenter, are always a plus for me). I like the art and that the story includes racially diverse characters.

You need to give yourself more credit. Your comic has a dark, foreboding aesthetic--and that's horror, too. It's interesting that you set it during the 1918 pandemic, how did you get to that decision?

The art is good and I see that you're growing and improving with every chapter. Also very curious about the hook!

I only have one minor suggestion: when characters are in masks, their body language should match. For instance, I notice that nowadays people are much more reluctant to touch their heads, faces, or chins.

This is my mystery novel. It's about four close teenage friends who live in a little town where secrets and the paranormal are everywhere. They solve episodic mysteries with an overarching plot about the truth behind the town of Chuck-Wills.
