Yeah, I really love animation and, whenever I have some free time and I'm not working on my comic, I practice a bit. Here's a rough one I made a while ago.

I also have a more refined animation that I'd like to post, but I'm keeping it for another occasion (it's kind of a spoiler for my webcomic).

This type of animation is so nostalgic to me and it reminds me of the cartoons I used to watch at my grandma's house when I was little. Also, the music used in the second video is reminding me of something I've already seen or heard, but I don't exactly remember what that is.
This is just a huuuge nostalgia trip for me

Ooh, I love threads like these! I've done several short animations in the past (I'm not confident enough to share them though ). Been using Procreate and Photoshop but I'm looking for a software that can handle longer animations (maybe 3-5 minutes?) I've been eyeing Blender for its 2D and 3D features but I just wanna know if there's any other options What do y'all animate with?

It was circa 2004-2006 so I used a trad drawing program called Digicel Flipbook.
Example

Hand drawn on paper and then scanned into the program (didn't have a drawing tablet in those days).
Compositing and multi layer backgrounds was done in Adobe after effects.
