Any examples of YonKoma format on our dear scrolling comic sites?

Do you mean yonkoma exactly? Because usually people still use a bit more or less or you can argue Sarah's scribbles is a yonkoma too. But I guess War and Peas, Safely Endangered, Mondo Mango will be good examples. I myself make a comic in 6 panels

Yep. 4 3x2 (or is it 4x3? I can never remember) panels stacked vertically. Or two rows of them perhaps like the collections. The best know example, I figure;

I want to see if this particular style of artistic Formalism works, and also see why it doesn't. Most gag comics have embraced the scrolling image stack of webtoon. Similar but not the same.

had to dig deep in my library for these but the first that come to mind for this style of comic are

Chibi Reiko

and

4-Panel Life

There may be more but it definitely feels like something that was more common in the days where slice of life was the dominating genre on Tapas(tic). Pretty sure that even folks like Shen started out with a sort or 4panel style (namely with Shen Comix than Blue Chair) but as the genre in specific grew folks branched out more to, i guess, stand out or just coz 4 panels can feel kinda limiting

I created my newest series specifically in a 4 panel format to relieve my workload and burnout. It's kind of a fun challenge to write within 4 panels.
