Any Movie(s) Worse than Tales of Earthsea?

On that note, "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". Maybe I should have had some sort of comic background going into it, but the movie as itself without context is weak.

@JRHoch - I judge movies harshly sometimes, even ones you'd think I'd like. Cap'n America: Civil War was also shit. SO SLOW.

League and the Avengers are two of Sean Connery's worse films. I have heard he came out of retirement for a horrible animated film I haven't seen.

...No? I mean, I went into it as a person who has no context from the comics, so it was rather enjoyable. I also liked Cap Marvel, which apparently everyone hates. Meanwhile, I disliked Black Panther... Marvel movies are so hit or miss.

If it's a spider-man titled movie, I'm practically guaranteed to hate it though. (Spider-verse is the only one I've liked so far out of what, 12?)

I skipped Captain Marvel due to all the controversy. Which is unusual for me since I eventually see them all. For the most part even if I don't totally like them I'm still entertained. I will watch Captain Marvel eventually and just keep my opinion to myself.

I rather enjoyed capt Marvel, and agree that black panther was disappointing story wise. as for this new spiderman as much as people wont like me for saying so i wanted him to stay Thanos Dust. I have never liked the tom hollen spidey for lots of reasons but i find him quite annoying and the way he keeps calling 80's movies "really old" just pisses me off.

pulling another movie out the bag lets talk the golden compass I was very disappointed they never made the full trilogy, and I blame the whole failure on the choice of the repulsive girl who played Lira, she was just like a thorn in ya foot every time she speaks. for the amount of star names in the movie it should have done much better than it did.

Well, forget what I just said. I went to see a movie with the family that reminded me of everything I don't like in most Quentin Tarantino films. Two hours of Quentin showing everybody how much he loves movies and how he knows so much more about movies than the snobs who went to film school followed by a half hour of violent splatter so over-the-top, that I almost felt bad for the bad guys and felt very uncomfortable with rooting for the "good" guys.

And apparently Quentin Tarantino, for all his vaunted (self proclaimed) knowledge of movies, doesn't understand Bruce Lee.

It just goes to show you how so much of what we call good or bad is just different opinion.

The book series had a ton of atheist themes. The film toned it down tons but there still was open protests at some theaters and of course the one preacher that pops up every few years to say certain kids show characters are gay and parents should protest and boycott popped up too and made his usual noise.

Cars 2, I admit I really like the first Cars when I was a kid it might have been in my top 10 favorite movies. However the sequel is just bad, plain bad. Mater was good and funny in his small amount of appearance in the first movie, however as the main lead in a spy flick was just annoying. That movie was just boring I bearly remember anything thing about it. Pixar's lowest moment

Of course, the year first watched was maybe years before most of the people who post on this site were born. I didn't make a lot of sense, since I was a kid. I watched again later but gist of it is a utopia went bad years ago and the people in it are doomed to eternal life and boredom.

The presentation was pretty bizarre to the extreme. Oh well, at least director of the movie made the best Merlin to ever grace the screen later.
