Anyone trying it out? It just went public without those invite things and it looks like it’s still working out some bugs. Everyone seems on the look out for the next big art blog. Right now it seems like a lot of people are finding for that in Artfol but it does seem like others are finding hope in Pillowfort. Anyone out there trying Pillowfort? Are you liking it? Drop a link to your below!

I've been on there since late 2019! Love the platform, I just hope they don't keep messing things up to the point of making people lose any trust in it... that half-assed launch attempt they did in January was pretty terrible, and to make things worse, they already had a failed launch a couple of years before that .__.

That said, I prefer it to Artfol because it's browser-based rather than app-based and works on both desktop and mobile. I'm an old dinosaur who never learned to type stuff on a phone, so being able to write posts using an actual keyboard is a blessing to me, lol. My blog is here! ^_^

As someone who prefers using internet on their laptop than on phone (I find mouse+keyboard way more convenient than touch devices) and who is really against apple's censorship of online spaces I went with pillowfort (uninstalled artfol the moment they cleared up their stance on mature content). Same case as Llyrel! I much prefer browser-based sites. It's still got some safety problems, but seems like it's enough that having NoScript on gives some peace of mind. Also, I can post NSFW without it getting in the way of my regular content, so that means uh I probably shouldn't link it here this time. Still, I'm Iris-Codex there!

I'll be playing around with it again in the future, but right now I'm struggling to keep up with posting regularly just on Instagram and Twitter. I don't need to be adding more until I get my workload back under control.

Hopefully Pillowfort does better this time. I think there's a lot of hunger and nostalgia out there for a Tumblr replacement.

I just rebooted mine in anticipation of needing a home for NSFW content, realized I had a zillion invite links! So if anyone wants to make their own PF, claim away (if it doesn't take you to a sign up page, that link's already been claimed):
