Above all things, this story is a fantasy story first. However, there are LGBT characters in the main cast and this story is largely about their journey to push back the end of time. (I will say, that the characters in this novel are adults and will encounter violent or sexual situations. Anything that falls under the Tapas guidelines as âMatureâ will be so marked.)
Here with some more lgbt+ comic recs that Iâve definitely listed in the forums before but I love them all so dearly- (@dawgofdawgness already mentioned nica&stilts but like....... pls read it )
StrangelyKatieâs Princess, Princess
And Ngozi Uzakuâs Check, Please!
My story about two boys falling in love
In the novel there is going to be references to a song that both the boys listen to, it's going to be their song.
So I made the song so you lovely people on Tapas could listen to it -

Not really my cup o' tea, but my most active reader @Neveria writes this. I plan to spend some time reading it over the weekend. The little bits I've read so far feature some real solid writing. It's BL.
We've got lots of LGBT comics!
In Love Labs, the main characters are both gay trans men! It's based on 80's sci-fi but has a lot more to it than that, I like to think.
The main characters in Mal de Ojo are ALSO gay trans men. This one's more of a fantasy/horror/western
There are also LGBT characters in Between Hay and Grass, although it's a little on the subtler side right now
Fishing Lure is a finished comic with a gay romance as the central theme
We plan on making many more at https://tapas.io/fnflgbtcomics
I wrote an M/M fantasy adventure novel called The Oaf Prince
https://tapas.io/series/The-Oaf-Prince3
It's already completed and it hit #1 lgbtq-fantasy on Amazon the year I released it
Am I allowed to plug my book if it's a premium book on Tapas?
If not I will totally delete this message!
Anyway, my novel By the Blade features an asexual protagonist fighting in a death tournament. I primarily write asexual protagonists since I am asexual and always wanted to see characters like me in stories that didn't revolve around their orientation.
I have two LGBT stories.
The first is a romance between two gamer girls who meet inside a videogame. The final chapter just went live today, but there is still an epilogue next week
The second is the story of how a trans girl and a crossdressing boy fall in lover over their shared passion of cosplaying magical girls from anime. This one just started a few weeks ago.
Just released a new one called MOONLIGHT about a transgender warlock.
Can be read here: https://tapas.io/series/MOONLIGHTOfficial1
Genres: Fantasy / LGBTQ+ / Drama
Summary: On the island of Ilragorn stands The Academy â a place where young aspiring alchemists enroll in hopes of one day mastering the skills inherited from their birthrights.
Sixteen-year-old Fendriak Indigo Sarte wants nothing more than to join The Academy. But Indigo was born a woman, and Ilragornâs history has always been very clear on one thing:
Women heal.
Men fight.
Break the rules â die.
1Hello! Just throwing out my story lol. It's a romance featuring 3 relationships (1 straight, 1 BL, 1 GL) with some interesting characters. And since I reached my small goal of 40 subs, I'm in the process of doing a Q&A (readers picked it) to reward myself and my readers. I'm posting my answers sometime in the next week or two. Should be fun! Come join us if you're interested
I joined Tapas a few weeks ago and have been making it rain coins on some amazing authors. Then I thought that I would have a go.
Set in contemporary times and the eighties, it's a coming of age story about four teenage boys coming to understand themselves in their respective times and a load of people who they meet on their journey.
Hey hey
Just posted a new one for this month's writers camp and humbly invite you to check it out! Long story short it's a love story/mystery between an android and his human friend, but if you'd like a more in depth summary, feel free to read the info below.
READ THE STORY HERE: https://tapas.io/series/Android-Affection1
Summary: After his parents were murdered by the hands of three Assistantsâintelligent, empathetic androids that have replaced most humans in the workplaceâ23-year-old Ian Starke swore to himself that he would never make the mistake of trusting another machine.
During a night of drinking his sorrows away, Ian gets involved in a street fight soon stopped by Gilbertâa newbie cop who also happens to be an Assistant. As Gilbert lets the other party leave, Ian assumes his arrest is imminent. However, his new acquaintance seems to have other plans in mind. For when Gilbert finally releases him: he treats Ian to breakfast instead of locking him behind bars.
Little could Ian predict that agreeing to pancakes would get him dragged into adventures heâd never thought possible as he and Gilbert learn put their differences aside and work together to solve a case close to Ianâs heart.
My LitRPG story has lots of queer characters.
While Willow's sexuality isn't exactly known, apart from not being straight, one of her best friends in non-binary and uses they pronouns and basically none of the characters are straight
Also, Willow, the MC, is autistic and gender and sexuality are also a little bit of a strange thing to her.
Yep...
Ferris has desired Daniel Peters, his shipâs newest recruit, from the moment he saw him. But Peters is a lowly private and as the senior officer, Ferris knows he must wait for a sign that his feelings are returned before making an approach.
When Peters follows him into a two-man capsule after a mission, Ferris thinks all his dreams are about to come true, but then-
My novel has one male lead who is gay and demi, another male POC who is pan. I have a male POC key side character who is straight and eventually (SPOILERS) does fall in love with a trans woman, who is also important in and of herself. I plan on having a lot of other representation as well as we go - the story is mostly focused on the trio above for now, but it's going to open up.
Hi! sharing my merfolk fantasy, romance BL novel in case you're still looking for LGBT+ stuff to read
Stranded
Geale finds himself stranded on an island after attempting to rescue Marnthe, a singer, whose performance during an annual festival captivated him. They are left with no choice but to share a house until the next festival arrives and provides Geale his path home.
Geale takes it as an opportunity to learn more about Marnthe and persuade him to join him in his return to the ocean, not realizing that Marnthe had been cursed to remain permanently stranded on the island.
Hey @panpanwuvmgau Sorry to be a pain, but please check the dates on these threads you are reviving. This one is over 4 years old and the OP hasn't been active since 2018.
