Anyone else on the fence about NaNo Writers Camp?

I'd really like to throw in my cap again. It has been a lot of fun and it helps me get off my butt and actually write. Lately, however, I've been spread a bit thin... like really thin. I have portfolio reviews coming up soon so this semester and next, I'll be working on my portfolio for graduation. I don't want things to interfere with school. It comes first...

Plus, I still have to finish The Marriage Interloper and Wentiko. I've placed them on temporary hiatus and have been working on them, but real life has slowed down my time at the keyboard. It seems like it's been forever since I've been on Tapastic sigh I've been spending my time 3d modeling, texturing, and animating instead. Meanwhile, the keyboard sits right in front of me, taunting me...

I would like to try for the 50k, but if I do enter, I might just go for the minimum. I have one story sitting on my PC since forever that's already at 30k, so there wouldn't be a lot of writing. Just editing, editing, and more editing...
What to do?

I would say skip it this time. You've said that you're already spread thin and taking on such a big project would only way you done more, even if you already have a lot written for it. Editing can be quite a process all on it's own!

There will be other opportunities and other Camp's and like you said, school comes first.

I'm thinking skipping this time would be for the best, as you said. For myself, editing can be harder than the drafting process, mainly because I make it more difficult than it need be. hehe

Thanks for the figurative tug on the reins. Sometimes, I really need it, else I start trying to do everything and then get absolutely nothing done...

Ironically, I think I will editing during the upcoming camp. I have 90% convinced myself to join the No Novel for NaNoWriMo Club. Do we have shirts? #NoNoFoNaNoWriMo ? Instead, I will be working on some related side-projects.

My Inktober is my printed assignment with printer ink, thus my NaNoWriMo would be some progress report or assignments too.
