Writing is my favorite part, whenever I'm drawing it feels like I'm studying.

My comic is in the very early stages, I made my prologue so I can adjust to a new drawing style. It doesn't really say much.

While I have a main comic (which you could say is "early" into the story, but I've also been uploading it for nearly a year), I have another comic which takes place in the same story universe that is still in scripting and concept art stage.

The second comic will start being released sometime soon, but I don't know when because I haven't actually drawn a single page yet. I'm letting it stew with ideas while I grind away at my main story. In some ways, I'm more excited to get started on the new comic, but I think that comes from me getting tired of working on the same project for so long.

I actually finished the draft for my second story quite a few weeks ago, and now I'm just building up a buffer for it. I'm actually really excited about the story itself and it's taking up soooo much self-restraint to NOT upload the pages I've got already hhhh. I just want to post it ;_;!!

I've recently gotten back into working on my shoujo inspired slice of life comic Life of an Aspie and boy do I have lot of catching up to do drawing wise. On the plus side, I've got the first "volume" (Chapters 1-6) written down and I'm slowly piecing together how volume two will flow.

Technically all my comics are in "early stages".
My main one isn't even half way through episode 2. There are 12 episodes in my timeline.

I also have the story timelined, i know what happens where, but i haven't finished scripting out the last 3 chapters.

And don't get me started on my other comics they are all in different stages of scripting and storyboarding

I'm on my second episode of a series that will be about 35 episodes long, each roughly 30-40 pages. Prototype World

The original idea for the story started out in 2011 but didn't get truly developed till 2014 which then I started to work on making it into a proper comic.

I have the general overall story sussed but it's constantly evolving and getting more complex all the time. I find that I just need to go ahead and make up alot of things on the spot as I'm creating, because I find the most spontaneous ideas work out the best for me in the long run.

Now that I've finished scripting the first five chapters of Beast Bait, I'm currently in that whole "story in my head" spot for a brand new comic. I'll have to find an artist to collaborate with me for this one, though, and although the story is already plotted out with its beginning, middle, and end, and the characters are set, I'm in the exploration phase. I can't wait to devote more time to finishing up and getting the first script completed! It's going to be a fantasy, very different from my current comic.

To be honest, i have written out my main points and certain situations in my story Maximum Chaos , i am still working on how things come together as a whole but that is why i have a editor and i re-read everything and think of multiple way to tell a certain scene.
i have a plan but winging it at the same time... in a way
its still in the early stages i need many more chapters for everyone to really get a since of that MAIN objective, i am focusing on character development as of now.

I feel weird reading all of this because i have been working on wild magic for a while but i have never once sat down to write any of it out. Hell half the time i just nake up what happens next while im drawing the page!

I've been working on a fan comic for a while now, but the the process has been a bit odd. The script for what will be the the first 2 of 4 parts has been finished for over a year now. I just started working on other things for a while and finally decided that I should get back to it so it wouldn't drive me crazy anymore.

I've got the roughs for chapters 0 and 1 scanned, panels aligned, and inking/coloring well underway. The first half of chapter 2 is scanned and paneled as well. I'm thinking that at the very least I can get the first three chapters finished by summer's end. If my workflow doesn't get too bogged down and I really push it I can might get to finishing chapter 5 or even 6 before I head back to university and start releasing in October.

I'm actually already working on the comic I'll make after my current webcomic. It takes me at least 1 year to get a story right, and that isn't much of a problem because I work on at least 2 stories at once. That's one of the ways I keep myself from getting 'burned out' on my current webcomic; when I start to feel a little sick of working on the one currently being uploaded, I start brainstorming for my next comic! But I still mainly work on my current one. I also half-heartedly work on mini-comics I've been thinking about for awhile.

how early we talking here? lol Los Esmeraldas is fully written, I'm drawing it as I go....even thought I tweak it here and there.
I have another 2 comics of different genres completely different then the Sci-fi one I have now. , Drama/romance, and Fantasy. the drama one I'm still writing. and I want to start drawing it SO BAD because I keep thinking of how things are gonna look. BUT It's better to wait because after i finish the writing I know im going to edit it about 500 times.. and the same goes for the fantasy Idea, which I'm debating color or blk and white.

Right now I'm beginning the second plot arc of Evil Witch Allie, and I'd forgotten just how frustrating writing can be. I'm holding on to the faint hope that I can finish the script for the second arc before I'm done drawing the first arc, but I may end up with a gap between the two. T-T

I've written a good deal of my two current comics, but they're still pretty early on in terms of actually being produced and finished. My sci-fi/mystery story Atonement just published page 12 and my horror/gothic fantasy book I, Necromancer just published page 10. The one advantage to producing and releasing the pages so slowly is that I feel pretty confident in making big improvements to my approach to writing/editing them already. I feel like going the route of releasing them on the web first has definitely helped me learn, and man, that's pretty cool!

Good luck on Caster! The banner is a really great start if it's any indication of the art style within. There are a lot of great threads on this forum and articles on the newly launched StArt Faire magazine on writing comics (full disclosure: I'm one of the magazine contributors there) that might help you break through any blocks you get. I'm primarily a writer myself, so I understand how challenging long-form writing can be.

I definitely forward to reading your stuff once it's released! : )

I don't even have anything on this site (yet!) - I have around four or five ideas floating in my head. One of them's pretty much completely fleshed out, I have most of the scenes planned (spreadsheet on Excel and all!... I like being organized. Maybe a little too much), though I haven't really gotten around to the 'how am I going to draw this' part (it was originally planned as a novel). It might go online next summer (2017); I want to have a huge buffer before posting, and I want the whole 'what exactly is going to happen in each scene' done before drawing (worrywart here). But also because planning is my favorite part of a story: I really love world-building! Sci-fi and fantasy are my thing.

Your story looks really cool, from what I can tell of the banner, and the description Go for it! And I say enjoy the writing process. This is your world, toy around with it as much as you like. If ya get bored of planning scenes and stuff, explore the world a little bit. What's the life of an average person? Political systems? Beliefs, religions? Magic? You might even find something to add to the storyline. If the world was already an integral part in the first place and you already had to plan that and are bored again, talk to your characters. Or something. I'm trying to give advice here, and I'm not sure if you even want it XD. Okay, you can ignore me now.
