Anyone have a favorite anime, that use to watch growing up?

Well, they ran in absolutely different times, there are like 7 years or something between Sailor Moon and Inuyasha/Bleach, so I think if it's anime "you watched growing up" it purely depends on your age =)

The first anime I loved were Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, DBZ.

The next anime right after were Ronin Warriors, Gundam Wing, and Rurouni Kenshin.

I've definitely gone through stages of obsession anime which started with Ronin Warriors and Gundam Wing, then it was Houshin Engi, then Prince of Tennis was HUGE for me, then Kingdom Hearts, then Hetalia. Nowadays it's Touken Ranbu, Dr. Stone, and Houshin Engi again though the new anime was absolutely terrible, I've been playing the mobile game which has been great!

Cannot recommend Oh My Goddess enough! I think a lot of the episodes and the whole movie are on youtube.

Oh man, I love this opening so much! I even had a CD from the show that was songs by the three goddesses. I only ever read random volumes of the manga from the library and saw a fansub of the movie though. ;_;

For me, it was definitely "Rémi sans famille."
It's quite old, but I absolutely loved it. The story, the pacing, the characters, the art, the music...everything was so beautiful. Just writing about it makes me feel nostalgic

I watched Zoids, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Princess Mononoke, Sailor Moon, DragonBall Z, and Card Captors. Basically the popular anime of the late 90's and early 2000's that was on TV.

The only anime out of the above that i'd still watch today would be Princess Mononoke and DBZ. I've fallen away from anime (and TV in general, actually) since I've got older.

YuGiOh, Beyblade, and Pokemon were permanently on TV... I've seen so many, whether I wanted to or not

Sailor Moon, La mystérieuse cité d'or and Candy... but I can only watch Candy in French. Any other language and it sounds too weird for me. I think it's because I was very super young when I first watched it and up until a few years ago... I haven't heard it any other way.

I googled the title and got Kyoro-chan. "Big-mouth bird" is the Japanese kanji for toucan, and I found that out because it also showed the actual birds lol

Geez...when I was a kid, I watched shows like Speed Racer, Star Blazers, Battle of the Planets, and Voltron...I then moved and they didnt have any anime cartoons on TV- after I graduated, I ended up finding out about The Guyver, Fist of the Northstar, and Vampire Hunter D...I then bought Ninja Scroll & the Street Fighter animated movie- after that, I made it a thing to seek out anime.

It was a few yrs before I got back into anime, watching Golgo 13, then catching Adult Swim and watching shows like Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, and more...my fave shows- Code Geass, Bleach, Inuyasha, and currently- Twin Star Exorcists.
