you should definitely get procreate lol.
actually, most artists who get the procreate/apple pencil combo get it FOR procreate (including me), since it's a really good drawing program (comparable to Sai in my opinion). It's a really effective on-screen tablet and enables you to do a variety of things like animation and photo manipulation. I'm not sponsored by Procreate.
I also recommend Vectornator if you're going to do graphic design projects/vectorize things for T-shirts and mugs, etc.
As for apple products in general, you don't really get a lot of customization options but the good part is that a lot of things are already preset for you. The first thing you want to do is create an Apple ID (which enables you to "customize" what you can and sync across devices/ have iCloud), and go to settings to toggle the basic stuff (WiFi, control center, etc.) honestly with Apple products everything is already set up for you, so you don't really have to "learn" anything.
