Are short stories welcome here?

Hi, I'm new
I write short sci-fi and fantasy stories.
I have a question. Do you like it when a story begins and ends within the same episode or prefer long novels instead?

I could honestly go for both formats! Short story authors have skill I don't, making a plot and world in a limited number of words-

I mean, I think short stories definitely seem welcome. Frankly, I'd find it quite interesting if you manage to fit a story into 15,000 characters or less. Shows a good grasp of diction in my opinion.

I love short stories! Epics are good too but it's often nice to read something shorter. If it's done right (which is, admittedly, subjective) I really enjoy the poetry of a story that begins where it ends. Although, it doesn't necessarily have to be a short story for that to be enjoyable. I'm not sure if this is what you meant by

though.

Short stories and long format works are both welcome on Tapas whether comic or novel! So long as you adhere to the sites guidelines and keep within Tapas' format you're all good

Although there are more long novels on Tapas (at least that I know of), I think people still enjoy short stories as well. I've also started posting my own science fiction short story collection since December and I'm happy to see people are enjoying it!
