Are these Webcomic Sites Good to Go to?

[ToxicRamen]

With Tapas shutting down soon, a lot of creators are jumping ship and going to other places to host their webcomics. I already have WebToon & Global Comix accounts and I just signed up on Comic Fury. But I was wondering if these webcomic sites are also good to post my webcomics:

NamiComi - https://namicomi.com/en
Fables - https://fables.pro/a/home
Inkstra - https://inkstra.ink/
Pinya- https://pinya.io/
Lemoon - https://lemoon.io/

Or should I just stick with the 3 sites I’ve already signed up on?

Hi out of these I'm personally using NamiComi and I recommend it for the flexibility in page format and monetization tools. I haven't used the other ones so I can't give much opinion on them

I actually do not recommend GlobalComix having used it in the past. Their ToS still allows AI assisted works and they are more focused on pushing work from their publishers than indie work. They have gotten into trouble in the past using AI for promotions and have never publicly addressed it.

The one's I actually have experience with:

NamiComi:
Pros: Lovely site, Owners are mainly in the translation business and are super nice. I quite like the social media integration and, despite that I'm not a big Discord user, I do like the Discord-like social aspects.
Cons: EDIT: Pixel Width is fine! Barely any engagement, which is something my mutuals who use the site have confirmed.

Fables.Pro
Pros: Customization for your comic is AMAZING on Fables. The Fables version of my comic is the best looking by a mile. These are the same folks who make Topwebcomics and there's integration between the two if you link them to each other.
Cons: EDIT: Pixel width is fine! Please disregard previous statement! Engagement varies, noticeably, when my comic is high up on Topwebcomics it usually gets higher traffic on Fables.

Depends, if your comic has nothing mature, then Namicomi is fine, but if it has mature themes the entire comic won't appear in the mobile app, and the rest, i never tried the other ones

Cons: Opposite of NamiComi the max filesize width is 600px which is really small.

I don't think this is true? My comic is 800px and I've never had any issues uploading it.

[arcojawa]

Oh my gosh your right! I misread it! It's BETWEEN 600 and 3000 pixels!
... I... I have some editing to do...

[WLHcomics]

Pinya is kinda similar to here, it did crash on me last night though, and Fables isn't really the same as here, but I'm really loving their layout! I decided to upload my comics in the order I originally uploaded them here on Fables and on Pinya I decided to go in order of how I made them just like my Comicfury.

But I haven't really gotten to play around with either site much, so I can't really give a clear run down about it. I also found out about a site called Popjoy. It looks like it might be an Argentina based Webtoon site. I know the creator/developer was commenting on the subreddit page for Tapas welcoming creators from here. I haven't made an account on there yet, but if anyone has, let me know what it's like.

Btw re:Namicomi, 1200px isn't the minimum width it's just the recommended width. I uploaded everything in 940px width and it didn't stop me from it. It looks fine on my screen too so I think it's just a general recommendation

[arcojawa]

Ya... I've got a bit of work to do it seems. Which is good in the long run... I like the Tapas pixel width, it's definitely the one I've come to prefer. I think I stand by the rest of it though.

[WLHcomics]

Ooo! I think I'll actually try out Lemoon! It looks like they're welcoming Tapas creators there!

[drewdoniger]

Nami Comi is pretty good when it comes to uploading their, but I haven't looked much into the social aspect of it, nowhere near as good as this
You didn't mention it, but comic fury is actually my go-to one for uploading and the sorts, they do also have a pretty good forum, I haven't used it in a while because it's nowhere near as good as the ones here, but still worth it
Fables is very annoying to try to get your pages on there, I would not recommend it, same with Inkstra
I haven't used Pinya or Lemoon, so I don't have any opinion on either of them

[drewdoniger]

OK, I have looked into the social aspect of Nami Comi now, it might be one of the better social medias out there, like in general, not just for comics
