Yes, but it's not enough to pay my rent or anything. I work a couple of days a week in edutainment for that.
On Tapas, Errant makes me fifty cents most months, but sometimes I'll get donations or hit the targets for the Creator Bonus Program and get more... That said, anyone who thinks being on the CBP would immediately make their comic profitable, I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but there's a minimum number of views per month you need to hit to get any sort of payout, and it's a big number. There's a reason you can only apply for the program at 50,000 subs, and it's that it's extremely hard to hit the number (I can't tell you what the number is, or how much I get paid if I hit it for contractual reasons) with a comic that's under 5k or even 10k subs, even with good engagement.
But it's not all bad, because I tend to get donations, especially on Inksgiving, which is why on Tapas alone, Errant has made a lifetime income over $800.
Then on Patreon I make around $30 a month, which is a nice little bit of money on the side.
And then of course the Kickstarter raised £1,643, which is in the $2000 region. After printing, shipping and Kickstarter's cut, I made a few hundred to pocket off that.
And then I can sell remaining books too, which makes me some cash at events and from some local bookshops.
So I'd estimate Errant makes me maybe around 500 quid a year generally... at least at the moment.
