raintowns: I think sooner or later we all make "that" folder/bookmark where we all hoard those useful tutorials and we can never decide on a favorite or most seen one lol. that Vincent Price one is extremely useful.
fighterxaos: Thanks a lot !if you want to take that kind of exercises furtherly, search for LuigiL en deviantart, last time i checked he still made this kind of exercises with open invitations to other persons to upload original characters based on one common shape sheet.
a couple years ago i made a little summer class with kids and what i did was to make them draw shapes on a round table and then give them to their partners so everyone drew characters on shapes that weren't theirs (the point is, get creative with the resources you've got!)
and Creaux: wow! i saw the very first set of images when i was looking for info to use google sketchup (wich gives me the idea to look for something along these lines for later) glad you could direct me to the author of that so i can finally can follow his work.
