I just went to the site and explored a bit, didnt knew it. it also has a place to upload comics. I read a comic with a 100 pages, 5k views, and zero comments, lol. what a wild ride.

just an fyi, i came back to the thread, thinking it was a new one, because I read "post the fiLth" don't think badly of me, i haven't got too much sleep this week.

Ill wait for good light in my room here in Mexico, in the meantime i just wanna tell all you guys i'm a big sucker for people who works on traditional on their space, keep up the good work. some pinterest worthy stuff in this thread.

Pages 5, 55 and 75 from my manga/comic Anterra Chronicles. I was gonna do 105 as the final one but thisone showed something more interesting. [image] [image] [image]

An adventure-action comic i'm making, im still a few subs under 300 and I just came back from hiatus so any input on my work would be greatly appreciated!

An m zombie series where the infection spreads through tick bites and a Usa/Mexico border city is isolated to contain the virus

thanks a bunch! I'm checking out your stuff as it also seems pretty colorful and interesting. the collective work is really refreshing and it has helped us a LOT for printing out physical stuff, i'm fairly surprised not that many people try it out there.

Hi! I'm Javier, I actually have some experience here on Tapas, but I'm here today to speak about the comic collective I'm in 656 Comics from cd. Juarez, Mexico (also some collabs with people in El Paso Texas) we are a bunch of artists who've been working around since more than ten years ago, with …

Yo me acabo de enterar, tenia un par de meses que subia exclusivamente en español en subcultura, ni hablar. tengo Anterra Cronicas en ingles aqui con buena recepcion pero ya prepararé el material en español para que esté aqui disponible para ustedes.

"This looks like scott pilgrim" Although I seriously loathe how some people feel so superior just by namedropping. It always ends up being funny to me when I took that kind of comments as compliments. (by comparing my work with a true profesional)

A lot of people will agree with what I expressed in this short story but to add something, and kind of a recent story (maybe an idea for a second part?) I just finished a mini graphic novel a couple weeks ago, 45 pages. three and a half weeks of working almost everyday. And when i started showing th…

Oh well that was my number one suspicion, oh well, i'm glad i just did it on 2 or 3 episodes instead of giving all my series the bilingual treatment.

Hi, i'm not new, but i'm coming out of a near 6 months hiatus and i was kind of surprised the spanish option i used to have for some of my comics is gone, what happened exactly? wasn't popular enough, am I missing something? i tried 4 different search tags but did not fin anything about this. hope t…

Look for them in youtube, the animation is good for early 2000's flash, and i really like the voices. They really took the Edgar Allan Poe aspect and used it.

@APM There's a lot of animation in this one, nice. @niinasalmelin I've been wanting to read I kill giants for a long time, how is it? @yvettegustafsson I used to watch the Lenore shorts on Fox Kids and a couple years ago started buying the books, great addition. @agentfink @noctuidae @AnnaLa…

I've seen a lot of creative/creation games posted recently and i remembered Fox Orian's Influence map activity in wich you select your main inspirations and authors for your own work. what I like the most about this method is that it's a graphic way of mapping the things that influence your work, …

I'm already adding a lot of you guys, but here's mine in case there are some lurkers @exeivier_mex

@Waterdrain @myung @Zanreo Those are pretty good, the dance off one was pretty funny @mg78 that's a really good idea, actually. @Strontium You made me remember something i forgot to add! i hate editing video haha. But a lot of people seem to feel atracted to it so i do when needed. i had a s…

Hello!! some time ago i was discussing with other comic creator friends about different ways to promote our comics, and one interesting idea was making sort of "trailers" or videos meant for youtube, fb etc. i re-took the idea for a crowdfunding i'm doing (although is for printing the AC book in spa…

I apologize. i thought it was "what to do in the case of a hostile- harsh criticism" (at least i read it as that) buuuut in the case of what you mention of course you're right, if someone dedicates time from his/her life to tell you something about your work the very least thing one should do is sho…

Short answer: NO. Long answer. I don't really remember who said it (it may have been Will Eisner) but i think "Every superhero story has been told" there's a lot of interesting stuff in our world and stories to share/write, to be re-doing the same old superhero stuff since the 50's i think the onl…

that's exactly what one should do, also i really don't think "unhelpful crtiticism" exists, if someone tells you something that hurts you and makes you abandon your art/writting/etc. it's not really that bad critic who made you surrender, but yourself at the end of the day is more about the arti…

I just wanted to make an annotation on the example you made of your comic, the colors that goes with each example are actually in tone with the emotion involved, at first i said "huh, nice little accident" but i think it is really intentional so this made me like your work even more. kudos. (i'll se…

there's a lot of theories around this (one of the most recent is the internet term "mary-sue" wich is a so perfect, no flaws character inspired in the writer/artist) usually, we tend to like characters with flaws that take them to struggle through the hero's journey (another writting term, look it u…
