Let's see them. These could be other people's ocs here on Tapas, or characters from your favorite tv shows, cartoons, etc.

My characters Mandy and Mora from my novel "Crystal Blue." Their hair and outfits are inspired by my childhood favorite My Little Ponies, Rainbow Dash and Minty

Rai muffin's character Natsumi

bee butter bee's character Chariot

(none of these outfits are canon)

PJ thetoonaddict's oc Belle

2dlenzy's oc Aldi

Lost Kelp's OC Alya

I've done a lot of art trades, so this was me going back to make improved version of the drawings I made of these characters

This version of Kyara is pretty much inspired by my ex's main character. She was really into techwear and it rubbed off on me in the brief time we were together haha.

Well I've done some art inspired by characters I like. I did a portrait of the Baron from Dune in order to accustom myself to drawing fat people.

I also did a drawing showing the Ray Fox character Summer Bellamy in white tie, just to see how she would look in it.

I also drew some fan art of the character Varis Lodd, a character from an obscure book series you've probably never heard of.

Then of course all the DITYS entries I've made, although I really did these for the attention more than anything else.

And last, but certainly not least, here is a picture of a minor character from the Chrestomanci books by the late, great Diana Wynne Jones (author of Howl's Moving Castle). It was intended as concept art for a short film I made based on one of her short stories but which I never finished.

These are to name but a few examples. I can't get all of them up because it would take too long to sift through everything

Oh, I've got lots and lots and lots (ands lots) of drawings of either my own characters dressed up as other creators' characters, crossovers, or just plain fan arts. I'm also off work so I've got way too much free time.

For my characters dressed as others' we have:

Daecon dressed up as @2DLenzy's Friar Chicken:

Daecon and Evander dressed up as @abigaillmartin's Elsie and Ernest:

Daecon and Evander dressed up as @KevinReijnders' Kyara and Zack:

Daecon and Evander dressed up as @llobucervallince's Henry Hare and Larry Berry:

Daecon and Evander dressed up as @pjthetoonaddict's Otto and Crystal:

Carmen and Dale from Wild Nights, Hot and Crazy Days dressed up as Asterix and Obelix:

For crossovers we have Daecon dancing with @Headypigeon4180's Aluta:

Daecon meeting @skidiggy's Zayzann:

Daecon having dinner with 2DLenzy's chickens and Alec:

For straight-up fanart/DTIYS we have:

Gibberish from @UntiteldMaidens Untitled Heroes:

John, Alex, and Marcie from It's Kind of a Funny Story:

John and Jack from @clarissapattern's Airy Nothing:

Rin and Corneleus from pjthetoonaddict's Clybourne and Chatterjee, as they would appear in the Daecon shapeshifting universe:

Elsie, Rosie, Ernest, and Roy from abigaillmartin's Elsie:

Kyara from KevinReijnders' Trespasser:

Kattar from @Leyelle's Damsel in the Red Dress:

Kattar in his lion form in the Daecon universe:

Psychoborg from MK_Wizard's Psychoborg:

Zach from KevinReijnders' Trespasser:

Otto from pjthetoonaddict's Blue Fedora (this is actually the first DTIYS I'd done on this forum):

It's honestly kinda funny and very fitting that we now have a Deacon dressed as Zack and a Zack dressed as Deacon.

I drew my inspiration for the art style from the TV show My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic

I love Lauren Faust's colored lineart and no shadows combo. It works the best with my type of comic. Type of storytelling in that show also gave me the inspiration to make Eternal Mist.

Your drawing of him as a lion is still high-key lit. enjoy your free time by the way, i hope you rest well

I took reference from a character turnaround done by Anna Rettberg,
I feel like I´m learning something from drawing her character, especially
about the power of a really simple cell shading. The drawing feels really
empty before I apply the shading. I try to use this for my own characters

that would be cool to see, lemme know if you do, i'd like to see it. The dress is one of my character Therese George's fits, but since her story is a novel, I probably won't get much of a chance to show it (TT.) (would that make it a novel cosplay? is that a thing?)

I think Therese would have been alive in the same era Blue Fedora takes place in, actually, so they could very well have been in the same place (since she's an immortal fairy)

This pic is still so cute. You drew Kattar and Alicia together as well, I still love that pic
