We, Hall of Heroes (www.hallofheroesmv.weebly.com), are looking for comic artists to join our nonprofit team for free. Our plan involves assigning artists to writers to make (currently) free to read comic books. Some of the stories are already written and some are not.
What is Hall of Heroes?
A new project. The size of a multiverse.
A parody of the greatest science fiction, action fiction, and superhero fiction.
Hall of Heroes is a fictional multiverse illustrated through books by Jay Kesav and others. Like Marvel's Earth-616, Marvel's Earth-1610, Marvel's Earth-19999 or DC's universe in the way that a larger story is told using many other stories or series. The main arc is the story of superheroes and supervillains due to some of the population gaining superpowers. Along with these superhumans, there is SHADOW, or the Security and High Agency of Defence Operating Worldwide, a counter-terrorism and intelligence agency with a dark, twisted, and thrilling past. Finally, there is a space-age, science-fiction element. Set in space, Brown Dwarf tells the story of a superhero team; in space. The series will continue to patch together the history of the enhanceds and will help lead up to a dramatic conclusion. Afterwards, the franchise will go on for hopefully ever.
Why do we want artists?
Hall of Heroes was built on writing stories, but we are expanding to the comics market.
Why do we exist at all?
We exist because we have a vision: ideas that have built up and will build up want to manifest into something. And maybe, in the future, we will become a proper business.
What do you gain then if you are not paid by us?
Can you do comic art but can't/don't want to write? Do you want to feel fulfillment? Do you want to be part of a friendly team which help you and you help?
Like Osborne from our Spies and Miracles story, we are a team, not a unit. We treat each other like best friends, always giving credit and helping each other out once in a while.
What are the requirements?
You must be able and willing to work in our team. You need to be devoted and must carry on with a project. That is the key to success, especially nonprofit.
You must have a way to communicate with us online: a good internet connection, a PC, Google Hangouts/Skype e.t.c. are recommended.
