Hey everyone! =)

I recently made and uploaded my very first (of hopefully many) timelapse videos, which was tons of fun! I edited a livestream for this and am really happy with the result. There are still some minor details to figure out (like why the heck does my screen capture end up squashed while streaming but not on preview?!) but I hope I will improve over time! =)

This is my video:

And since I now know how much work goes into something like this, I'd love to see the timelapse video YOU are most proud of! :heart: So, share those links and maybe even spread some likes on the ones you enjoy! :slight_smile:

Dayum, these vids are great.
Wish I could make one too, but all I use for my comic is MSPaint and a mouse to draw with. :sob:

@IndigoShirtProd

Wow, cool video! It's a great idea to include the total time for the drawing in the beginning and I absolutely love your choice of music! Left a like on YT!
I wasn't aware that it's possible to use geometric shapes to the extent to create a full artwork, I learned quite a bit watching this video - thank you for sharing! :heart:

@CarltonIsaac

Thank you! :heart: But basically all you need on top of MSPaint and a mouse is a program to capture your screen and a program to edit the videos in the end =)
For screen capture there are tons of options, but Streamlabs OBS, which I use for livestreaming, has a desktop recording feature, too - the program is free =)
After filming you only need to edit it and many people go by the da vinci editing program, which is apparently free, too, I think :thinking: (I use sth different)
I'd love to see one of your illustrations or manga pages in the making! :wink:

Thanks! You're video was so cook and very well done! Left a like in your video too!

I haven't done them in a long time (and I realized I deleted a bunch over time :/) --they were something I would do with my twitch recordings back when I regularly did Twitch, so it's a webcam and not too sharp but I got this one in traditional:

and then I did some with a tutorial, it's a bit longer because I had to explain brushes and stuff, but the speedpaint is deffo a speedpaint:

This reminds me I gotta eventually get back into speedpainting, though. I tend not to record my process and it's like...not too hard to press a button.

@MeltingCORE
Yay Team CSP! :heart: When I tried to install SAI at one point, my Norton went Haywire, so I stuck to CSP XD
I enjoyed your video very much - the commentary was pretty cool and made me curious as to the story itself, gotta check that out soon! X3 It looks like there's one hell of a lore waiting to be discovered (pun totally intended) and I hope you do more of these commentary timelapses!

@IndigoShirtProd Thank you, for both! :heart:

I've been loving CSP so far! The quality of just... everything is excellent. :heartbeat: And thank you so much! I do indeed plan to do more commentary videos. (Also, it delights me so much when people make hell puns for my story nldsvnds)

I use Procreate's "export timelapse" function for my speed painting videos 'cos I don't want to go through the pain of extensive video editing given that I only have Windows Movie Maker and so far I'm having lots of fun with it :smiley:

Most of my speedpaintings are on TikTok, though... I like it because it's faster and I can pick any background music I want, instead of being forced to stick to royalty free music ._. so upset that in the future it might not be accessible to people living in the US anymore D:

Not really a video but I did make a GIF. xD Hope that counts.

Here's the process for working on Arbiter's Wake backgrounds.

I've got a few saved away. These were all done with Clip Studio's time-lapse feature. As you can see, I love it deeply XD
