Tell me your some of your worst art storys. (or something close to it)
come, dish let the annoyance out.
weather its about some terrible art advice, maybe advice you were youthfull enough to follow.
or a teacher that seemed to have a vendetta.
or an occurance that happened while you were drawing in public?
or a comment to a post you made.
whatever comes to mind.
i'll go first. back in middle aschool when i first started getting into art/comics i had a sketch book that i'd make little comics in.
when in class we had to sepperate for a group project i went over to my friend, leaving all my supplies - but a pencil and the work book - on my desk, including my sketch book.
only to look over 10 minutes later to see a group of 5 people flipping through it and laughing.
i was so angry, and embarrased. i immediatly walked over, ripped it form their hands. they scattered fast, still giggling.
one of them, the only girl, came over later and i think tried to do a semi apology by way of compliment, a "your really good at art"
but i just looked at her and made a non comital sound, i wasnt willing to accept an non-apology apology. and i didnt care if i was the frank frazetta of art. i was a very private person, art for me is extremly personal. and they invaded my privacy and were laughing about it. so yeah an half hassed non apology was not gonna cut it.
i tend to be a very easy going and forgiving person, not cause i'm overtly kind. but it just takes to much energy to hold a grudge. but trust when i say i held a grudge for the rest of that semester. and refused to engage with any of them, or bother with any polite pleasentries.
they all got the cold shoulder. And dismissive glares.
