Black and African Lead Characters in comics

Hi, you can have a look on my comics Section9 it's a action comic (with a little comedy) taking place in the suburb of paris after a disaster.

The only comic I've found on tapastic with a black leading character is AiYoku's Project Survival. The comic is awesome! Check it out if you haven't yet.

That's why I also set up this topic because I was hoping on finding more and allowing creators to get more exposure.

There's quite a few comics with non-Caucasian leads if you wish to expand the 'afro-ethnic' circle to other things.
Off the top of my head I think of Dao, The Well By The House On The Hill and Vienda from tapastic.

Though I'm more into fantasy stories. Outside Tapastic, I know of http://serialbox.smackjeeves.com which has amazing art but has been inactive for a while,http://www.balderdashcomic.com, http://www.vibecomic.com/.

I personally create a lot of African and Afro-Caribbean characters. But I don't have a story out so its not a thing. My own comic The Other I will feature an African lead.

I suppose she's not technically the 'main' main character, but she's one of the four central members of the main cast and the most important female character in the series. From Lemongrass.

Also, for everyone reading, please do not take the title as exclusive. I'm really interested in comics with black lead characters but comics with any character of colour is welcomed to be shared as well. Thank you!

No Future features a coloured cast, though not the 'main' character they are still main characters.

Hi.
I write interracial comics which I don't see a lot of. But I am a huge supporter of all African American Comics/manga
I just feel like there isn't enough African American/ Afro Art or comics out there that shows a positive out look for our youth to see. I have a son and daughter and while they are mixed raced I teach them about our heritage and our history and where we come from along with teaching them about their Latino Heritage.

I want to encourage the youth in world to love all skin tones and support their own.
