Greetings!
I've donated about five times in my life. It always felt amazing to share and save 3 lives. If I had never donated in the first place, I wouldn't have learned a very valuable lesson.
Always make sure you are hydrated!
I'm not lying. When the blood drive happened one day, I felt a little sluggish from classes, walks, and diet. My mind was everywhere at the time, so it didn't occur to me to make sure I was okay. Not even a minute into the chair, with the needle in me, I passed out. The staff quickly woke me up and made sure I got better. This was the most memorable moment of donating blood. It made me self-cautious when it comes to my next donation.
I'd also like to share a piece of my work. One of the characters in my story has the power to generate and manipulate blood. I've researched so much blood topics in reality and superpowered fiction. However, when it comes to Tapas guidelines, I have to take precautions for my readers. I mark his chapters mature whenever he uses his power, which is all of them. Despite the mature rating, I promise his storyline and character is awesome.
