Can You Post A Series About Pokemon in Tapastic?

I created a monstrous Comic Series about a Pokemon Trainer and His Gardevoir. It's been going one for a while in Deviantart and i was thinking of Uploading it here in Tapastic. Im not aware of FanArt Works in here or how it's Favoured among readers. Have you guys ever seen Fan Art Comic works here in Tapastic? Any Infringement Cases? i think that'll prob'ly be an encouragement/discouragement.

If this site is only for 'Original' Content, then i'd be damned, and my comic's Damned.

No you'd have to own the copyright for the content. Fan comics are a no-go.

I believe fanfictions are allowed on tapastic, seeing as I have my own fanfiction here and have never gotten trouble about it. I think the comic is just ineligible for the Tapastic ad revenue program.

However, I would check with one of the Tapastic staff to confirm.

Just claim you don't in any way own the Pokemon frsnchise is enough, I would think.

These things used to be allowed, just not in the support program (since profit would be involved with that). But now that you can sign up for ad revenue, I'm not sure anymore. Best to check with the staff, like @Euphorie said.

Hmm some people had asked this before and I believe some staff even said that you can, but probably shouldn't sighn up the support program and ima say its the same for the new Ad Revenue program as well. However the "support program" thing you legitimately can, since its people technichaly donating to you ;0

This is all in the basis of 'pay' and if you can or not. xD sorry if I missed your question. I'd say just post it up and see. Im pretty sure you can, just the pay is alittle tricky. Good luck.

the guys just asking if he can post without copyright infringment. i don't think making money of it is his primary concern.

fanworks and copyrighted works have always been in the grey area when it comes to money and profit.

you can always count it as a derivative or parody and still be able to earn income from it because its a parody.

if you ask me however, as long as you have a story that you want to share, by all means tell it. you wont be banned from making pokemon comics and it would be a disfavor if you did.

posting it here will most likely be okay. but its always reccomended to ask admins just in case.

You can post what you want if you're not making money off it. You should be fine.
I have a comic that's all about various real game companies, throwing brand names around left and right, and I haven't got any trouble yet (then again I don't get paid for it...)
