Can't see pictures in forums?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and tapastic in general and I've been enjoying it here. But I can't seem to see pictures?? I would say there was a problem with the pictures themselves if it didn't seem like others were seeing it while I can't.

They just look like a blank square with a symbol at the top left:

Am I doing something wrong?? :0

Hmm. This has happened before, and sometimes still does for me with the occasional picture. Let me see if I can post an image in this thread:

ETA: I'm able to see that image. Is it still invisible for you?

I can see that one, but checked on the other pictures from before and I still can't see them. Did you do something?? :0

No, I just uploaded it the way I always do. I have no idea what kind of error you're experiencing, but I just checked other threads, and I can see the images just fine. The inktober-logo shows up as it should in this thread, for example.

Sometimes when I use links from wonky websites, the image breaks after a while. Is it broken when you upload it directly to tapastic, or just when you use an image URL?
If it's the former, you can upload an image to giphy (even if it isn't animated) and use it to c/p a url image. I've never had problems with it.
